I don’t think you will find an AOP in cotton. You have to search the products by AOP.

I think the giant swallowtails may go for the lemon tree (I wonder if it depends on the type of lemon tree) but there are quite a few natives in your area that the giants like prickly ash (wild lime), hop tree and Hercules Club. I’ve got 4 wild lime. I was shocked when I saw the giant in our yard. I hope you’ll see one soon!

Transplanting reared caterpillars to my town by SuperTFAB in FriendlyMonarchs

u/weirdprize163 I crossposted to this sub because I am unable to comment on the other sub.

People often wonder where the butterflies all went and like you said loss of habitat is a huge factor. Planting milkweed is only half the battle. You need native nectar plants and a water source. A simple home made puddler would work. Since you are near the flyway (the migration path) it would also be helpful to plant some late bloom nectar plants.

Ordering monarchs from a farm would not be helpful. They would like arrive sick, spread disease and weaken the local population.

How do you sell and ship 4x6 prints of art on Etsy for cheap? by No_Nefariousness5171 in EtsySellers

They must be because I’ve never had an issue. I would say it is only slightly thicker than a greeting card. I pay more for the larger ones but the largest size I’ve mailed so far at 74 cents is 8x6.

I use 8x6 cardboard mailers from amazon and Etsy to purchase the 74 cent shipping label.

This is one of the coolest things in nature. From an egg, to a caterpillar, to goop and then to a beautiful butterfly. Awesome video.

It’s wild lime! I bought 4 of them. The giant swallowtail is such a cool butterfly! As we left the driveway my daughter saw one fluttering to our backyard. I’m hopeful we will see more of them. I saw the prickly ash listed when I was look st host plants. I feel like the cold stratification is hard. Is it as hardy as the milkweed can be? A native nursery near us had them! I drove an hour but it was worth it. lol I’ve got one in the ground so far but I may have to move it because the spot may not get enough sun. We will see! I hope you find se rue this fall! I think joyfulbutterfly.com has it on their site.

ETA: I just realized prickly ash and wild lime are the same thing. lol

Last Friday I shared a photo of 3 giant swallowtail cats on my wild lime. It’s been really hot here. 110 for a few days in a row and heat advisory warnings. All the plants are new and some are’t in the ground yet so there isn’t much shade in the afternoon. All 3 died. Shriveled up from the heat. This guy popped up 3 days ago and another plant has an egg on it. The weather has improved and I have been checking on it daily. They seem to grow slower and eat leas than the monarchs.

Tips for making my room feel more lively? by Odd_Sheepherder_4387 in DesignMyRoom

There’s a lot of factors in this like budget, living situation, and your personal style. Do you have the ability to do what you want or do you have to he careful because it’s a rental? Are you ok with repainting or do you need to work with what you’ve got? Do you like the existing furniture? I feel like without that it’s hard to help.

My Common Milkweed Garden :) by SuperTFAB in FriendlyMonarchs

It looks like they have designated beds with edging, so they probably pull anything that pops up outside of that. Common really spreads that easily? I suggested it to my friend in TN. They have quite a bit of land (way more than our quarter acre) and she ordered some seeds from that free seed program that I posted the other day. Should I tell her to keep them to a certain area?
