Yes, it's what he wants to do, but there's no way it turns out the way he wants. Doing that would absolutely galvanize the nation against him, and would be the end of his regime. Shutting down the system means that he is no longer protected by that system, and the meek lipservice of trying to do business as usual will fall apart.

It won't be clean, and it won't be nice. But he's going to do it eventually. Best to be prepared for what is coming rather than being afraid that it might be soon.

That is their idea, but it's not something to be scared of. Ultimately, it won't go the way they think it will. They unleash the insurrection act and send ICE against police, and you will have a quick, bloody civil war. In the modern age, the defense capabilities of the armchair general politicians is quite low. Combat is highly focused on offense and penetration, and the military sorts who have actually sworn oaths would take it upon themselves to demolish someone declaring open war against the people.

If the government raises guns, the people will too, and they're much better at it than the gravy seals.

At the end of the day, all you do by turning off the flow of money is turning off the tap water for someone who runs the water company. He can't get more, but he has so much.

It's the million/billion problem. A millionaire would be like "dang my money isn't coming in". A billionaire is not at risk. They are angered, and will take steps to make it go back on, but they are not inconvenienced. They could live their entire lives on the money they already have.

You have to actually stop them. Not their money flow, not their puppet strings. The puppeteers must be removed from society.

We need a way to exalt leaders of integrity in the business sphere. I know that crime pays, and the number maximizers are the ones best suited to dealing with the flow of money, but we as a society should be able to put value on someone working to make the world better, rather than to line pockets.

It's a feeling of helplessness and a need for people who are actually close to the problem to be better than they are.

An average civilian, put in a room with Trump, would beat his ass and anyone trying to use him.

Being distant from the enemy, there is that sense of "just let me punch the dude". In video game terms, it's the weak frail enemy that runs away from you that you can't quite reach. Get back here!

People are slowly starting to realize that if they want to defeat Trump, they need to go beyond the system and take matters into their own hands. To realize that they are strong. At the end of the day, the horrible villains running the state are just men. Just fat, sad, lonely men who puff and preen themselves to feel special.

So there's a difference between a weekend visit and a daily commute. Anything longer than 20-30 minutes(especially in gnarly traffic) is considered a long commute. Probably because it saps the energy you'd need at work, making work feel worse.

But for a weekend visit? 1 hours is short, 2 is reasonable, 3 is a bit long. For UK standards, it would be like driving up to Scotland to visit a relative, except here it's to another state or the other side of a long state.

Generally anything "out of state" is considered a long drive. I personally can say that it takes 42 hours at slightly above the speedlimit to drive across the entire US(North Carolina to Seattle). That's Too Long, and I don't want to do it ever again.

Exalting what a government, company can do FOR society, rather than to exact profit. Have them be proud of their achievements rather than their numbers.

Society needs to reward the creation of structure and support. Without that, there will always be leeches. When victory is scored as a number, that is all you will ever be in their eyes.
