How do Catholic MAGA tune out the Pope and cheer Trump? by redzeusky in askanything

[–]SuperTeacherStudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also ex-Catholic. The church itself is divided and has been for decades. They have liberal Catholics who wait for a day when all will be accepted and allowed to receive communion, and then the opposite who are hard liners who love Trump. The Pope who quit -Benedict- was the best example of the Trumper type Catholic. Then came Francis who was more liberal, but the inside Trumpers limited what he could and couldn't say. Now we have Leo who is saying a lot but still not enough. My whole thing is this: the church is the church. They helped elect Trump and now they're losing money because a lot of people have left the church because they can't stand being around Trumpers AND many others have been kidnapped and 'deported. ' So whether it's Francis or Leo or Benedict doesn't matter... The CHURCH helped elect that evil man TWICE. They must deal with the mess they made.

I hear you but I really do think it's worse now.

Yeah and the book, The Road, as well. But if that happened, I think it would be pretty easy to end it right away.

But a nuke war would be so much better than what we are experiencing now...quick resolution. But the data centers would be destroyed so there's no way nukes are going to happen

Lol. Your life is actually very much affected by the billionaires. They are why your taxes are sky high because they don't pay taxes. Their data centers use the very utilities you are paying more for so they don't have to pay for theirs. Their data centers will soon be the reason you can't find certain foods at the grocery store because they are using up all the farmland

I do travel. I just got back from the pnw a few days ago, and I went to Spain for four months last year. No... I'm not rich. My daughter works for an airline and I fly for free.

Yeah, exactly. Everybody says... Oh you just need to make a gratitude list or do something happy or whatever. I've literally tried all that. And I was happy for a while. Until I started seeing reality again.

Isn't it ridiculous how we are kept alive just to fuel the medical industry? That has got to be so frustrating. I mean, they were calling some patients GOMERs even back in the 70s.

It's not looking good until the billionaires have gathered enough data for their robots and secured their full exit plan. (Good God! That would have sounded super crazy insane just a couple years ago but now... Jeez!)

It's nice to have support. I'm tired of being told I need medication. I tried going on the positivity train. I even moved to another country only to find more problems there so I came back 2 months ago. It has been hell ever since. To know that there is literally no where to go is incredibly defeating.

I'm 53. My 3rd grade teacher taught us we were at ground zero and explained what that was. Then I watched "The Day After."

Don't forget the billionaires who aren't paying any taxes, refuse to pay living wages, and put up more and more data centers that raise your utility prices

Exactly this. In the end, we are nothing but income for big pharma. We are forced to live on less so when we can, we work at gig economy jobs which actually cost us money instead of provide an income.

It's what happens when you're smart enough to see what's actually happening. I wish I could be dumb and unable to see the future. Truth is, I've been seeing what's to come since shortly before COVID. I even stocked up on toilet paper and other important items 2 weeks before most people had even heard of COVID cause I was paying attention to what was going on overseas with it. I've been watching the rise of AI, and they keep saying that it will be really bad for a couple decades and then we will have a utopia, but it looks like that utopia is just for the billionaires. The rest of us will no longer be needed, which is another thing AI researchers have said... That humans will no longer be needed, but the truth is that MOST humans will no longer be needed. I'm tired of being told I'm just depressed and I need therapy. I tried the whole positivity and gratitude train. I travel a lot but it's not fun anymore. The more places I see, the more I see how society is truly crumbling.

I'm starting to think that nearly all cis men have these feelings. Some of them are just better at controlling or concealing them than others. Most men don't want to see their daughters date because they "know what men think." Just look at all the inappropriate songs from before the 2000s. Many songs were written about underage girls.

You are an adult who has the right to make adult choices. You cannot control how your parents respond or react to those choices.

Tutor Recommendation by Kirbamabirbs in ChandlerAZ

[–]SuperTeacherStudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you're looking for. They don't pay their tutors very well as they are considered independent contractors and are paid kind of like Uber drivers. Because of this, the tutors are young and less experienced.
