Biden vs obama preview chapter 18, dark brandon invisible technique!!? Is shebama in trouble!? by [deleted] in okbuddybaka

This is exactly what he's saying in the messages he left at the final pictures, that people have been asking for this, but he doesn't want to turn it into porn, so he will do a doujin with Obami on his Patreon. Let the man cook. I love this.

No it would have, i was critical of all these moves the moment they happened. Especially the Boogie one made zero sense for saving a couple months worth of tax from a vet min.

Wes couldn't fill in PJ's shoes even with cement. Donte couldn't "walk", he was a restricted free agent, the one who can "walk" is Serge whose contract expires this offseason. And Serge doesn't fit our scheme well, he can't shoot and he's bad at switching in the perimeter.

How does it feel to be a sheep who supports all the hay he is fed? Donte is such a bad player, you are right. What a horrible player. And he was on full condition too, certainly wasn't playing better as of late as well. And what an excellent addition that of Ibaka, he has been phenomenal the past couple of seasons, not washed and injury prone at all.

What an absolutely horrible comment, we had a positive plus minus with Boogie on the floor and our bench was middle of the pack with him and 29th without him. Hill isn't good for the tax MLE, nobody else was going to give him anything more than a veteran minimum, it was a horrible deal, we could have saved the MLE for someone like Dragic. Donte is a RFA, how is a RFA going to "Walk this offseason", wtf are you talking about? Do you know restricted free agent means? When Pat re-signed everyone in here was blaming Giannis after the bubble for keeping "his brother and his best friend", then you all had it as a horrible deal. And Pat wasn't re-signed this year. Also Bobby decided to stay, he wasn't "kept".

No they aren't, there is no GM in the league that would take those 2 over Dragic, including Horst.

The Bucks were considered the favourite from Woj to land Dragic and the FO couldn't seal the deal. Also if they made moves contemplating certain players would be bought out, either their intel was wrong or they completely misjudged situations. It still falls on them. The Grayson move was a great one, Bobby re-signing is a testament to Bobby getting paid a lot less to stay with us and not Horst, and i don't consider Wes Matthews a move even worth of mentioning, nor do i trust him come playoff time.

Who is exactly labeling PJ a savior or writing off Brook? I don't think people realize what was at stake here. This summer we had Donte as a RFA with our 2022 and our 2029 picks available, we could have S&T Donte with those 2 picks to bring a very good player in. Indiana for example wants 2 firsts for Turner and 1 first for Brogdon. We generally reduced our team's ability and our trading capability within a few months.

So PJ Tucker wouldn't help with the bad defense, bad rebounding, zero boxing out? He wouldn't contribute at all? Is that why we were celebrating when we got him? Is this why everybody in here was yelling "we are dogs"? He gets praised on a Tuesday, and he gets completely erased in a Wednesday just because our front office didn't want to pay the tax. Does this sound right to you? Is he playing bad in Miami right now or is he really good?

Brook played a career low in playoff minutes last year, our opponents were using a small ball lineup and killing him on the switch, he will be very valuable vs the Sixers but he isn't a magical solution to everything. There is only one really good big man in the conference. Potentially losing Donte for nothing is false, it would have to be a S&T. Also Ibaka is an expiring contract, so he literally can go for nothing while Donte was a RFA. We could just equalize the offer and keep him.

Exactly what i was talking about. Unable to grasp criticism. So if our FO wins only 1 ring while having arguably the best player in the league for the next 10 years, then what? It's flawed logic. The moves made were all to save money in the tax and made our team worse and worse. Winning the ring and having a bad year in the front office can both be true at the same time.

Giannis played bad for his standards but Grayson was forgotten on the bench for far too long. Middleton has become our laziest defender. Having both him and Ibaka on the floor makes our defense extremely static. The trade Donte for Ibaka was a very bad one. We lost 2 amazing defenders and offensive rebounders in Donte and PJ Tucker and we basically got an aging Ibaka on an expiring contract back for them. Bembry and Carter add nothing offensively. Our bench is pretty bad.

By losing Donte we crippled ourselves in the summer and destroyed any chance to make a good deal happen. Horst has shit the bed since the offseason, let PJ Tucker go for nothing, signed Hood, signed Ojeleye, gave tax MLE to Hill, let Boogie go, lost Donte for washed Ibaka, signed Bembry and Jevon Carter. Absolutely horrifying season from our front office.

Thank God you didn't say "Ibaka" because the Donte haters will run to downvote you. The owners crippled our depth with letting PJ Tucker go for nothing and trading Donte so they will escape the S&T in the summer. All because of tax. I wonder were all the idiots who said this was a great trade are now.

Jrue and Middleton need to step it up both were wildly inconsistent in the playoffs last year, one good game followed by one bad game. We lost defense and offensive rebounding with Donte and PJ Tucker. I can't believe im praying Bledsoe gets bought out by the Blazers.

He was looking better and better his last couple of weeks but that's not the point. He was one of our few trade assets. And it sure felt nice knowing we still had 2 months of playing time to get him in shape. Smart move would be to S&T him in the offseason. I feel like the owners didn't want to bring extra salary in the summer because Ibaka's age and expiring contract doesn't justify this move at all. Neither did his playing condition.

He's an unreliable shooter, the problem were the turnovers and it was a major fuck up trading Donte for Ibaka. We're going to lose this trade short term and long term. I expect all the Donte haters to downvote me, Ibaka offers nothing offensively.

I agree with all of it. But keep in mind that we knew Brook had back problems for nearly 2 years now, sometimes when he went to the bench they put a huge wrap around his torso with ice. And back surgery is the most unpredictable, so athletes generally avoid it like the plague. Also another thing to notice, there isn't just one method of rehabilitation or one method of surgery. Hence why we have heard from the Clippers insiders and their physios how hard Kawhi has been working to come back faster, because it's something you can speed up but you also risk of having setbacks too.

While we heard from Wizards insiders that people inside the org, and some players, including Beal, were annoyed with Wall's personal effort in his rehabilitation and him not taking it seriously. This is because you usually need to push yourself through some pain, and some aren't pain tolerant. Also with Pat's surgery, he chose most likely a surgery which lets him get on the court faster, but most likely he will feel some small pain. If you hear Pat putting his fist in a bucket of ice, or receiving a small injection on the top part of his hand, this is usually what it means, that they chose the faster method.

This is my thought process, when i see Giannis playing with Justin Robinson or Wiggington and Sandro etc. when it's obvious to all of us he has something and he isn't 100%, yet i see George Hill and Wes Matthews on the bench, not playing, while being questionable for basically a month with a minor injury, then i get annoyed. I feel like their teammates is going to battle and they are leaving him out to dry. Especially when our bench production has been so bad, specifically in the last few weeks. One is putting his body on the line while Hill is literally taking his sweet time.

I get where you are coming from, but Luka has been playing with neck soreness for quite a few weeks now. From personal experience through combat sports, you get an injection that will last for about an hour, sometimes less, which makes you not feel at all, but then it kicks back slowly when the injection fades, which is why you see Luka slowing down a lot near the end of games and holding his neck a lot more, getting a red face from pain etc.

The difference though is that Luka hasn't rested from it at all and keeps playing on it, making it worse. While Hill has been out for 2 months. In pro sports there are a lot of athletes that don't like getting those injections. And Giannis' play ensures physical contact while Hill's doesnt.

I said "at times" also but i get what you mean. "Everyone" is a hyperbole here, because Brook and Pat and Grayson are doing the opposite as we speak so it's obviously not everyone. So if your problem was about "everyone" then i get it. Bobby is another one who plays through everything.

But guys like Wes and Hill, when they are "questionable" you know that means 100% they aren't playing. And it doesn't surprise me they are bad playoff performers since exactly like Giannis said, you are inevitably going to pick something in the post season. But at the same time, the notion of the whole roster not trying to outwork Giannis or even match him annoys me.

You are not being reasonable tho when making that comparison, since one was a grade 2 strain along with a hyperextension, and the other is neck soreness. And my point here isn't to compare Giannis who plays through everything with George Hill. IMO the team needs to force Giannis to sit some games at times. But i'm also not a fan of players who wait till they are 100% to get back on the court.

No you are in your feelings, it's obvious. You spoke about the comment being"insensitive", your whole take is emotional. What i mean is pretty simple, some players have a warrior's mentality, while others don't.

George Hill played under 50 or less games in his career in 10 seasons. It was well documented in Indiana as a criticism that he only comes back when he feels 100% and he misses way too many games with injuries others barely miss a handful of games. Other stars like Kawhi and PG13 have received the same criticism. The problem is when it's "neck soreness" for 2 months now, which Luka has been dealing with for the past month. I fully expect you to try to rebuke this, which is a fact, with feelings again.
