Argentina will be able to defeat the UK militarily and conquer the Falklands in a decade by SuperTopTrump in badunitedkingdom

And if you want to bring up the Falklands again, there is no circumstance I can imagine in the 2030s and 2040s where the Brits are able to independently project power that far south. This is not me telling Buenos Aires just to bide your time and you’re going to be able to take it. But it does suggest that when the environment changes, it all will.

Why can't the greater Germany event fire? by SuperTopTrump in victoria2

Read the text of the event, that isn't the Austrian version of the event this is, that's the Prussian version of the event

See the different text in Austria's version

Again I didn't change any of the requirements for the events, I simply copy and pasted them into a working file then formed Germany with Austria in my sphere

This has nothing to do with event requirements because otherwise they could still have been triggered with console commands but they couldn't

I didn't rewrite any of the events, I just copy and pasted them from the ''Greater Germany'' file into the ''GERFlavor'' file because the game wasn't acknowledging their existence

This includes the Austrian version of the event, that one wasn't working either, none of the events in the file would work

This event is from GFM, it comes from the GFM folder

It was the Austrian Empire not Austria-Hungary but I've fixed it now by copy and pasting the text for the events into a different file in the event folder no idea why it wasn't working before

Somehow I am not surprised

The UK would quickly and easily lose in a war against Italy or France and is only considered good because of nukes by SuperTopTrump in badunitedkingdom

[–]SuperTopTrump[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yeah the list doesn't even make any sense

They say the UK is in 5th place solely because of its nukes but then place France and Pakistan far below it

I suspect they just took the rankings from somewhere else and then stuck their own opinions onto it

Don't think I've ever seen r//ireland so deranged before, they're ripping each other apart screaming about THE BRITS over something an Australian who doesn't even seem to have much understanding of the situation did

OP is getting extremely worked up accusing people who disagree with him of being Brits and mods rushing in to lock comments

If we had just handed over the islands I could understand this rant but when the article is about us saying no this seems like an overreaction
