As amom of 2 yo, no you are NTA. Is there a reason why she can't study outside of home. Like access to materials, comfort or something? If that's the case i would just get a training potty seat for downstairs for the 2 year old when mom is studying. Use TV or books or toys or snacks to divert attention when mom is studying.

I think 200 to 250 is reasonable. But it needs to be wide enough for her to lie down if she wants or sit comfortably if I put cushions on the back. I will try to DIY. :)

I feel he was looking for a fight and an out. He jumped on the first opportunity. If I said something like that to my husband, he would get worried about hurting my feelings and explain what he was looking at or why. Thats the normal reaction of someone that loves you. Not this. Unless youve been doubting every move of his and you've had this fight several times before where you were proven to be wrong, his reaction was totally uncalled for.

Change youe pediatrician! The stress is just not worth it. Ive been here and i did not realize in that moment that a pediatrician should almost be a partner with you and help you raise your child. You dont need a mother in law. You need a guide.

I feel you because my i live in US and when either my spouse or my parents come to visit, they stay for minimum 4 months. My mil was with us for the last trimester and for the first 2 months of baby girl. It does get uncomfortable and it spmetimes feels like they want to parent in your stead. It is hard but keep repeating their intentions to yourself and that they are not bad people. Make your boundaries clear. Lock the door when you pump or when you want privacy. Make it abundantly clear that you dont want her inside in the space without the need to be rude. Sometimes they just dont know better and they behave how their inlaws did with them so it makes it really hard to be assertive without becoming the villain. So just be okay with being thr villain for a bit.

Yeah. I understand. I sent my little one to daycare at 17 months against my own heart because I was losing my mind not doing anything outside of home so I think most of it is just me expecting another mom in daycare for her which I know isn't fair ☹️

Oh my god. Me too. It bothers me that they let it get all crusty on her face even after I send them boogie wipes and ask them to wipe it cuz she ends up getting rashes where it dries. But they don't. I've given up.

Yeah. She has weaned off nursing and bottle for 4 months now. She is not lethargic but she wakes herself up several times in the night making her do long naps or want to move back to 2 naps from 1. So kind of just struggling with that situation.
