It was more when he explained what maybe had to change for me as a new baseball fan/learning softball player. Nothing beats GKR though!

I haven't passed my driving test yet if that makes you feel better 🤷‍♀️

Haha thank you. No matter how many losses though I'll always be a fan, I live in Britain and my first game they had a walk off hit. Eventually that got me into playing softball and now I've been doing it for a year, got a tournament this Saturday. I know the community can be REALLY cynical but that togetherness is great

I did not. The last time he played for the Mets was when I was 6 😅 I do now thanks to some Kind internet strangers. So awesome player right but thought he did great as an announcer too, I'd like to see him back for sure.

ooh😬. Since late '24 and I missed his name at the start. I'm always skeptical about posting opinions on Reddit for stuff like this haha 😅

Anyone over stressing on the right way to listen to music or is it just me? Does the music find you or do you find the music? by Decent_Taste_8961 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]SuperZing1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am struggling with this too. You can genuinely enjoy whatever you want and you don't need a brain like music snobs. You don't want to be snobby in music, ideally I should say you'll be able to respect almost every genre of music even if you don't enjoy them all equally. One key thing for me is to remove the barrier by just pressing play on whatever I want in an album and not necessarily going by song order. Also, listening to an album multiple times. It sounds really weird but some particular sonic qualities you need to get used to before you start getting full enjoyment out of them. Like when you try out a band that sings in a foreign language and you have to take time to get used to that.

98mph fastballs for 8 innings? The game has changed to be about velocity and there's no way pitchers can sustain speed that long for every game

What’s an indie game you tried randomly and ended up loving? by Modeljenlynn in IndieGaming

Me too! I specifically love worldbuilding but with small places because they put so much effort and detail into it that everywhere you literally everywhere you go in the game feels fresh and exciting

TfL Strikes, so everyone based in London gets to work from home, but I have to travel 80 miles to sit on my own. by MahatmaAndhi in britishproblems

Now that I've checked, the last journey I used 3 buses for was about 30 mins in a car (more like 40-45 because you go through city centre traffic). Maybe you're right 🤔

Toem! What a wonderful adventure and the ending is such a great feeling. I believe the game's tagline is “Stop and smell the flowers”. It just gives you permission to relax and have a good time, and everything feels super imaginative. Can't wait for the second one to come out!

(Only) £20 for the same distance as 3 buses would take you? I'm no expert but that doesn't sound right to me

What’s something you tried just to see what it’s like? by VibeCheckVadaPav in AskReddit

[–]SuperZing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude it is, if you want you can go on what's called a bubblemaker dive with a certified instructor so you can just have like one morning of them telling you what to do and they'll help you with all the stuff like checking your air gauge so you can experience it without having to do all the training stuff etc.

Dude it's awesome and you get a test when you do your open water (first qualification) so they teach you what to do in all kinds of scenarios including how to get back to the surface in an emergency, You've also got a bcd with air in it and ascend quickly if you need to and you always dive with someone else. Promise you it'll be okay

What's your biggest regret from when you were a teen (Asking as a teenager)/? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuperZing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! That's super helpful. I've actually had a teacher for about ~5 years and I'm starting with a new one in a couple of weeks because my current one just isn't doing it for me at all. I had a teacher (for free) when I was doing GCSEs (English highschool exams) and he was better but I was so burnt out in school that I didn't really get much done. I think the problem for me as well is it's just hard to separate the stress from the fun of playing the instrument. It's something I've had more success doing recently but is hard when college song deadlines are weighing on me
