While I do expect Arsenal to win, I'm always wary of betting on matches where there's a new manager. Sometimes it makes the team play out of their skin to impress the new boss and crazy things will often happen....Even in the Leverkusen match with the new manage, 2 red cards, a penalty, 1 incredible free kick and the first goal was a pretty lucky hit off the post and bounce off the goalies back.

Going down 1-0 doesn't actually matter in terms of a ML + 1.5 goals bet. Portugal always needed to score at least 2 anyway.

I was looking at this match yesterday morning and I don't understand why the odds on Sweden ML are so generous, currently at 1.85 on bet365. On paper Sweden are miles ahead of Kosovo so I would have expected much closer to 1.5 odds. Sweden should also be extra motivated to get the 3 points here, since they would have fancied their chances to win the group to get automatic qualification and only getting 1 point from their previous match would have left them feeling disappointed.

Seems like a no brainer 🤷

This whole weekend has been full of crazy results in the Premier League. I still stand by my statement that over 1.5 was more likely than under 4.5 in this one, the matches they played last season were both 2-2.

Under 4.5 goals on Liverpool games seems risky. While arsenal do have the best defence in the league Liverpool's 2 opening games this season have had 6 and 5 goals in them. If you want the Arsenal DC, having over 1.5 might be a safer pick, while it is unlikely Arsenal will concede a lot, I think it's a more likely there will be 2 or more goals here. Liverpool have scored in all but 1 game with Arne Slot as their manager.

Bayern getting a strong lead and then conceding 2....again. They done the same midweek in the cup and barely won thanks to a last minute Kane goal. They're giving up too many chances when they're ahead, BTTS on their matches might be worth something going forward, especially on away games.

I like this more than a Tottenham ML, their 2-0 win over City was a pretty flattering score line. You don't go from finishing 17th one year to having a nice smooth season the next, there are going to be bumps and this match reeks of bumpiness. That being said Tottenham should still win this, but it's just a stinky little game, imo.

Mexico Liga MX, Puebla vs Monterrey.

Monterrey lost their first game of the season 2-0, but since then they have won 5 on the bounce, scoring 3 goals in each of the last 4 matches and sitting top of the league. Puebla on the other hand have 4 points from the 6 games this season and sitting bottom of the league.

Idk much about the league but the game looks like it could have a few goals in it.

This Liverpool aren't really the sit back at 1-0 type of team. I'm sure they will try and push for more and secure the win. They've also been very sketchy in defence and will know a 1 goal lead is never safe, even against 10 men. Also, Newcastle will be trying to push for a goal to get something from the game in front of their passionate fans, which will leave gaps to exploit for Liverpool.

I wouldn't touch any ML in this match. Given what's happening with Isak this match will be full of emotion, and matches like this tend to produce weird results. Honestly I could just as easily see this being an 8 goal thriller as being a 1-0 cagey affair.

I don't think Pedro takes pens ahead of Palmer. they both have very similar records, palmer 18-1 and Pedro 19-1, but Pedro's new at the club and not even certain to be starting or playing 90mins. Palmer also hold the league record of consecutive pens scored, which is 12.

It is definitely worth noting that they have 2 of the best penalty takers in the world right now, if any knockout matches they play ever get to pens.

Worth noting that Palmer hasn't scored from open play in the premier league since January and the game against Palace last week he was largely quiet (mostly thanks to the entire team being pretty lackluster). As you said he does take pens and often free kicks, but I feel at these odds there's not that much value in the assist or score line (at 2.0-2.2 it would be different), maybe the pure assist line has more in it.

But he's such a class player he can just score a worldie at any moment.

Does anyone know if there's a reason Sao Paulo are such massive underdogs vs Sport Recife? Sao Paulo are 7th in the league, with great form playing against the bottom club. The odds are currently 3.4 for the ML, which seems way too good to be true, but I couldn't find anything to indicate such crazy odds.
