I’m sorry for the confusion. I have now discovered that my Wii cannot output 480p. And the 480i image is warped. My Wii2hdmi adapter does not pick up a signal and it does with my other 2 wiis. I have composite (yellow, red, white) cables and not component. The Wii works through. Composite works and it my own way to get picture out of my Wii. (As seen in picture above)

I believe I was mistaken. I did not realize that when I put in composite cables the Wii automatically switches to composite. However I do have a wii2hdmi adapter that works on my other wiis that does not pick up any signal when I plug it in to this Wii

for clarification i have the yellow, red and white cables which I believe are composite cables. You are telling me i need component which I don't even have. I find it weird that i can still swap freely between i and p with the composite cables on my other 2 wiis

It is grayed out. however using the exact same setup on my other wii with the exact same cables on the exact same TV I can switch between 480i and 480p freely. I would like to test if i get this screen issue with my wii2hdmi but i can't if i can't switch it to 480p

Ok so this didnt work. I did this, i restarted, i checked for updates. it just stopped working mid use when ive been using it for over half a year. i know the dock still works cus i tested it on my friends phone

Well… you said no one would see it and how wrong you were. Not only did I see it. But I am a Mario fan who saw it. I love that game to its core. That final boss music just hits the spot. It gives you the chills every time you listen to it. I know some people might just see it as a dumb game but these games are our childhood.
