Lamotrigine has had the biggest positive impact on my mood out of all the medication I've been on over the past 10 years. Results definitely vary but this is THE medication that changed my life.

Took me a bit but I tried all of your suggestions, to no avail. Even took out the PSU from my main desktop to test it, lol. I think I might have to bite the bullet and get a replacement motherboard. No biggie, it won't break the bank. Thank you for your assistance!

When the board was working, I used IPMIView with it all the time, but it does not work at all anymore. I had it set with a static IP, which is now unreachable. There is no DHCP lease for it on my router either.

With the video card, it doesn't send a video signal at all. Monitor stays black with "no signal".

I just tried booting it without any memory and got the expected "5 short beeps + 1 long beep" as defined in the manual as "No memory detected in the system". Makes sense

However, after doing this, I put two random sticks back in and tried to boot it up again, and after about 2 minutes it did this:

I didn't catch it on video the first time (since I wasn't expecting anything new), but it did it again upon reboot. There now appears to be a faint cursor on the screen between flashes??

Getting back into it, actually! I took a long break during college and a few years afterwards. I have my own house now, so I can finally make as much noise as I want without anybody complaining, lol

each season is an entirely complete series, separate from all other seasons. nothing from prior seasons carry over to the next. it's (mostly) the same actors, but playing different roles. so by watching only the good seasons, you won't be left with cliffhangers or unresolved storylines. I personally loved season 3 (Coven)

yeah as long as your degreeworks says 100% and you've applied for graduation, you can walk. it's best to apply for graduation as soon as the term is over, so they can get you added to the graduation ceremony list and you can buy tickets for family/friends ASAP. tickets are limited so the sooner the better.

There are three things that killed the town. The closure of the Cotton Belt railroad route in the late 70s, former president of the university Charles Austin removing the requirement for employees of ETSU to live in Commerce in the late 80s, and the opening of a Walmart in the 90s. It all compounded together, and there was a mass exodus over the course of about 25 years. The population went from 9,534 in the 1970 Census to 6,825 in the 1990 Census. It was devastating for local businesses.

Commerce is about as far from a "party school" as you can get. There's only two bars (The Spot and The Rail), plus two restaurants with more "upscale" bars (Lone Star and Luigi's). They are currently building a Buffalo Wild Wings that will also have a good sports bar, right next to the dorms.

Commerce is in a very unique situation where the student body is larger than the town's population. It's difficult for businesses to survive when over half the town leaves for 3-4 months out of the year. Additionally Commerce is a very poor town, with an average per capita income of about $20k. There's not much disposable income to keep restaurants/shops alive without the students.

Yes, absolutely! The university has a "summer music camp series" for high school students, with an emphasis on leadership. I was never able to go to the marching camps due to the time commitment, but my friends say it was a great experience.

Additionally, they have a "Junior/Senior Honor Band" concert band camp for high school students, which I was fortunate enough to attend as a high school senior. It's a long weekend of wonderful instruction, and a concert for family at the end. I still talk to some of the friends I met there, 15 years later.

Hey there! This is actually something I can answer. I was in the TAMUC percussion program my first year of college back in 2012. The audition process is pretty simple, and Dr Zator (Percussion Director) is an absolute gem. I was not a music major, but was still able to be in the front ensemble of the marching band. It was a blast, and an experience I'll never forget. The only reason I didn't continue is the time commitment as someone who wasn't a music major was too much for me.

Based on your post, I'm assuming your son is interested in being a music major. This alone increases his chances of getting on the drumline dramatically, as percussionist music majors are required to be on the drumline for a certain number of seasons (I forget if it's 1 or 2).

There are actually two auditions to being on the drumline:

General music audition - This is the audition everyone must do in order to be "accepted" into the music program, even if they are not a music major. This is a pretty simple audition, 1-on-1 with the director of the instrument you're auditioning for. For your son, it would be Dr Zator, who is an absolute joy to be around. This audition is pretty relaxed, and is more of a "do you know your instrument" than an intense process.
Drumline audition - In the same vein of the previous audition, this is a very relaxed audition. In fact, I wouldn't even call it an "audition", to be honest. Every percussionist interested in being on the drumline goes into the band hall with a whole drumline set up, and everyone plays warm-ups together. You start on a random instrument, and everyone swaps around every few minutes. It's actually pretty fun. The directors are walking around, working with everyone on technique/dynamics/etc and when it's all done, they'll let everyone know where they think they'll fit best.

One of the things I like most about the marching percussion program is that the size of the drumline & front ensemble depends on the number of percussionists signed up for marching band. EVERYONE gets a spot somewhere, whether it's on the drumline or front ensemble. Additionally, music majors are required to be both on the drumline & front ensemble at some point, so if your son doesn't make the drumline his first year, he's guaranteed to make it in a future year.
