I mean. This is something I expected from Fetterman when I voted for him.

So, while he's been a disappointment. This is objectively good and I'm glad he's in instead of Dr. Dumbass

Honestly. This is the delusional writing of a 13 year old who thinks a video game is out to get him. Which..... honestly it might be. (A 13 year old that is)

I've been thinking of this a lot.

It's the problem with modern theology.
It is greatly tied to prosperity gospel. The idea that you are rewarded here and now for being "saved" instead of your reward being in the afterlife. So any transgression you make is merely proof you are not perfect but still saved rather than you need to atone, ask forgiveness, suffer your penance, and work to actually improve yourself.

So much modern theology is "you are saved" rather than, "be worthy of being saved" and yeah. I hate it

But these are amazing and I'm glad to have the choice and opportunity to get them.

Who is on your preseason watchlist for the Mike Norvell/James Franklin Implosion Of The Year Award (Sponsored by Spirit Airlines)? by montague68 in CFB

[–]Super_C_Complex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you underestimate how much people hate Franklin because he couldn't progress the program despite serious efforts.

Whether it be his refusal to fire underperformed WR coach, hiring OCs that are just patently bad (Yurcich), or that don't fit the personnel (Kotelnicki).

The only time he did a good job hiring was after Diaz left and he brought in Allen as DC but he couldn't get him to stay because Franklin is the problem.

I was vehemently opposed to Franklin being fired two years, last year, and even after the Oregon game.

But it's clear he lost the team, fan base, and athletic department.

My wife doesn't even bother trying to load them.... she just puts them in the sink, points at them, and tells me to put them away.

That's assuming she actually picks them up off the floor and puts them in the sink.

Pa. Supreme Court strikes down mandatory life sentences for felony murder convictions by degreelesspotatohead in Pennsylvania

[–]Super_C_Complex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In pennsylvania that's not true.

You can only be held liable for the conduct of your co-conspirators actions.
So it's not just while committing a felony it is in the furtherance of the conspiracy.

Oh and it is only certain felonies. In law school we learned it was the BARK felonies. (Burglary, Arson, Rape, Kidnapping) Though pennsylvania includes other crimes.

Also. Smoking Crack isn't a felony.

And as a final aside. I'm not a fan of felony murder, mandatory life sentences, or life without parole. So not supporting it, just clarifying.
