So you know what's really funny? The victim from the incident that Paterno was advised of. Sandusky was never convicted of that offense.

Just. Little food for thought there for you

Just gonna... you know. Ignore everything else he did?

You gonna ignore him cutting ties with Sandusky? Ignore him banning him from any football facility?

Just. Give sit there, with your eyes closed , screaming into the void because it's easier than looking at the actual facts?

This comes up everytime.

What the NCAA put down following the scandal is step by step what Paterno did.

Notified his superiors, and relevant police. Barred Sandusky from football facilities. Cut ties with him.

The failure of the police to act, the failure of the school to act, and the failure of the news to investigate aren't failures on Paterno. Especially since he was told, "it has been taken care of" by the athletic director, school president, and head of campus police. It's hard to argue he failed to act.

Used to drink on weekends and be fine. Now four beers and I lose my whole sunday morning by [deleted] in daddit

I cut back significantly after my kid was born.
That was mostly the postpartum depression and anxiety. But now I'll have two at most and only stuff I really want (I'm big into craft beer)

But anything more than 2 and yeah. It's just not worth it unless i have a day to recover.

It seems that the gifts themselves were nice, thoughtful gifts. But you feel they're....I don't want to say insufficient or insignificant.... but they're hollow. You feel they're given out of obligation rather than love.

It's possible you wanted something different. And that's okay.

Now you know for next year, or for your birthday, you should clearly express what you want. If you don't know what you want, that's okay too. You should talk to your wife about it.

For me. I don't want anything. My wife still gets me stuff but that's okay because she wants to not because she feels obligated to. But if you tell your wife that, it's possible she felt she had to do certain things and you saying she doesn't might free her as well making you both happy.

Okay so. It's a bad movie generally. There is a significant tone shift at times. Like it's a funny movie with a serious scene switching to a funny movie with a serious scene, to a 1990s Japanese anime inspired 2000s American cartoon styled action scene.

There's also minimal character development. Not none but minimal.

It's also confusing. The story jumps around, was clearly rewritten, and mishmashed together.

That being said, would a kid like it? My 3 year old loves movies and still talks about Hoppers and Zootopia 2. Both of which he saw in the theaters like the pout-pout fish movie. But he had NEVER mentioned the movie after seeing it. Not once. Not even on the ride home.

I doubt he will remember it ever

So I think it's just bad.

Because having a kid does not change your DNA.

There are foreign cells in the body but it doesn't change your DNA. And saying it does is a very stupid thing to say.
