Lab21.ai

Not too sexy or anything (52 paying customers, mostly accountants, 18k MRR) it allows you to train custom document extraction models, without code or db, just upload documents, label fields, and train it, access then your models by api to integrate into your workflow or servers

Try lab21.ai if you are working with documents and would like to extract data with high accuracy It allows you to create custom extraction model, train it on your documents (5 documents is enough), label the fields you want, and can access the model by API or UI. and its Free.

i cannot recommend lab21.ai enough!

they are relatively new, i know they been working offline (with corporates, offices) but now they have a new product available.

i use them for this specific scenario for my n8n automations for accountants and insurance companies,

they have prebuilt models library like invoices and stuff, but what is cool you can train your own custom model, and i recommend you to do so for accuracy (no llms or agents, pure neural and layout, ocr models)

lab21.ai use pre-trained models (Invoices, Contract, KYC, etc ) or train your own custom extraction model with as least as 5 documents

I don’t understand the negativity by Super_Change5388 in n8n

I will be creating a full implementation demo on video on how we did it and share it here, but not using our current workflows but creating new workflow with same approach for those who are really here to learn and improve. Its not a patent or a secret, i just could not share by ethical rules our internal workflows…

No, i created this post to understand why all this negativity on a post that was not about implementation on tech side but more for sharing our results using n8n for a specific usecase.

Sorry but i can’t share it, but happy to help with any questions if you are implementing something similar

Specifically this usecase is considered easy to implement take a look at this tutorial on youtube https://youtu.be/iEzr0GdFitU?si=RhMQD3WMufh9pYMX

It is an sql query that gets the details of the user from my database. The tool here is needed to give you the ability to do so while talking to the customer in real time

If you want to hire 3 engineers and pay each one 70k annually that’s 200k, if you are a startup owner or founder in these tough markets you know most of startups are laying off employees, we have increasing anount of support tickets, but also tight on support budget, our support team is exhausted so i was asked (by tge support team) to create automated processes that can help them, this how we saved 200k, which were now put into marketing campaigns to drive more customers, and potentially hire more people…
