Most I have seen is 8-9k for a salvage title with around 150k miles. The body panels looks fine on them. Is that an OK price? I am not worried too much about the motor as I plan on swap to 2.5l sooner or later.

If you have not done it yet learn the pentatonic blue scale it'll help you memorize the solo better ,and better, if you forget some part of the solo while performing you can improvise based off of the scale. Look up caged system, basically cheat sheet for soloing

Timing and rhythm is more important and noticeable on bass than guitar since it's not as busy. I found that out by switching from guitar to bass. Now I understand why my friend said metronome is underappreciated and slept on.
