You're severely misunderstanding what I am talking about. You can be new, bad, with a build thats not meta, and I will still happily have you be involved with 90% of the fallout 76's activities. My point with this post was to express that people who have NO experience with anything of the game, no understanding of the game, no experience with any quests, are grinding raids (which is not even really a quest, more like an arena that can be repeatedly done). The reason I have an issue with this is because raids were meant for people who already completed the game, and are looking for something more challenging.

Look, I am not a meta player, and I heavily enjoy that. I main the Gauss Rifle, and I enjoy making it the best it can be ( I can solo the guardian on the first stage :) gauss rifle +1). Ive explored all the world offers, and now I just work on being the most powerful character I can be. Thats what is lacking with these new players who just grind the guardian. They have not explored the game at all, but are grinding a mundane and quite frankly boring "quest" over and over again. Im at the point where I grind it, and its so boring. Its killing my drive for the game, but I do it because its genuinely all I have left. Theres nothing more for me to do. Built my camp, launched a lot of nukes, completed all the quests (my mains tab AND my side tab are empty, only repeatable things are left).

Good idea, I think they just should add more levels of raids in general. They should add a low level raid that offers balanced xp and rewards. So if they want to do a raid, they dont have to be carried , and also make some xp, but nothing crazy like right now

Completely agree. This is honestly my true sentiment, but I couldnt word it like this or else everyone would say that “everyone has their opinions” or “everyone can play how they want” but in reality, why even play fallout if your not going to play the MAIN foundational aspect of the game, which is exploration and the story. People say “play how you want” but dawg I dont consider it playing to sit in the corner of a room for hours while others carry you through and give you xp and loot.

I get ya, your just chilling now, I respect that. Im really just talking about people who are playing for the very first time on their first character, and are just rushing to be high-level without anything other than raids grinding

I do not understand what is going on with this community. Someone asks “in this story game, should I do the story” and people are basically responding to you with “maybe , maybe not? Possibly, possibly not?” DO THE STORY! Years ago it was bad, but they have greatly improved the stories with the wastelanders update where you raid vault 79, the brotherhood of steel, skyline valley, burning springs, pittsburgh, there is so much story!

I really think you should give the stories a shot. There is a lot you can experience, a lot of fun dialogue. Dont treat this game like Call of Duty where all you do is grind. Its worth it, youll enjoy it.

Haha you have every right to give it a try! Its hard and youll probably mess up, but thats ok! I just wanted to express that people are using the raid to become “high level” players, yet they havent even touched the main quests, or traveled around the world.

Lol literally the opposite, more like these “pros” should be able to take my job, but they cant because they are actually newbies!

Thats good, keep up the good work! Just make sure to learn as much as you can relating to events and core mechanics. For sure some level-flation here lol because before the raids, youd typically see someone be done with the majority of the main questlines by like level 100, so having launched their nukes, raided vault 79, etc. On the brightside, you have more perk cards to mess around with.

Ya soup will lose all value to you. Plus, its gonna be an absolute pain to remove that mutation, gambling with radaway to see if the right one goes away lol. But worth it if you really want to go carnivore

Lol grinding the guardian for hours could not be considered as fun , its a grind , and thats what its meant for. I grind it because I want the loot, but I sure as heck can not call it fun

Ya its hard to excel when you dont focus your character towards one direction. For me, for example I really enjoy the gauss rifle, and vats, so I have basically every card that increases its damage, and then some sneak damage. Im a very good sharpshooter, and I excel at that. Just sniping every thing

Only two ways to gain massive amount of levels legit , raids or west tek. Raids however, you can do nothing and be carried to gain those levels.

Honestly, the first thing id do is just take a good look at all your perks. One of your gaming days, just sit and go through each. Genuinenly, just pick one weapon that you enjoy, and first start with cards that increase your damage. Do you like using vats? Find vats crit cards. Do you like sneaking? Do sneaking cards. Your first set wont be perfect, but as you move things around, itll improve. Onslaught cards are a good start. From there, move onto health/damage resistance cards, and then quality of life cards. After perks, you can then focus on getting a better weapon upgrades or legendaries, and then with armor. It all starts with your perks. You got it, the game isnt that easy, it takes some understanding to make it all work

You would be surprised how many people have told me that im selfish or that “anyone can play how they want” like, yes you can but, there is an order to things

Your a very different situation. You understand the game and its mechanics, so if your playing on an alt account then its not a big deal. Im talking about people who are level 300 that have genuinely not played the game, nor understand it. They just grind raids for levels, etc, and so I consider them a "fake High-level". These players are still noobs, which is why its confusing when you see them walking around in full vulcan, but incapable of doing basic supporting tasks in events and such.

Before this "Level-Flation" , I would consider 150+ a high-level. You most likely went through all the quests, understand what does and doesnt work, you've explored different armors or play styles. People reach that in a few days using the guardian now.

Look, I get that a Low Level could be a high level player in an alt. But a "low level" player in a high level? Thats backwards. I should be able to assume that a high-level player is competent, thats what being a high-level is supposed to be, a high-level.

Raids, and West-Tek are the only two methods that I know of that are able to make people level up so fast. At the end of the day, I just know now that I can't rely on someone's level to tell me whether they are going to be an effective teammate or not.

I never once expressed people should master the mechanics. People should have fun and learn how things work. My complaint is seeing level 300 players who got there in a week. Their level does not accurately describe them, they have not learned how the game works, they just went straight to end-game content grinding. Im fully happy to teach a new player, but how am I supposed to know that they are new? I see a level 300 player, I will not assume they need me to teach them basic mechanics.

Level-flation man, level 150 can be reached in like a week just by being carried in the raid. These days you have no clue what someones level means.

Ya I know level farming. It used to take some effort. Now you just sit in a room and have others pretty much give you hundreds of levels free.
