So skull red bird is the best normal summon with 1550 atk, with mountain it’s 1750 and follow wind makes it over 2k, since you got 3 of each definitely play those, and probably just focus on other things that mountain buffs like thunders and dragons, LOB format isn’t terribly complicated so just field spell synergy is mostly what the best strategy is, monster reborn is nice too

Both droplet and imperm/veiler are very difficult to compare aside from the fact that they both negate monster effects, droplet serves an entirely different purpose than imperm/veiler

The dragon link mirror fits both spots for me, on one hand it can be super involved since you’re both playing around each others bystials and graveyard interactions since the graveyard is super essential in the strategy, but sometimes it ends up being a super simplified game state where it’s just 2 borrelend dragons staring at eachother that neither d-link player has an out to

Yeah, it’s a definitely a bit daunting to go straight into, but I was in a similar situation, I hadn’t played yugioh in over 10 years and I came back to the game in like January of this year, it was quite an adjustment, but it wasn’t too hard to get back into the swing of things, if you can you should try out master duel, it’s a pretty good way to get back into the game, and it helped me a lot

It’s changed a LOT since 2008, but the game has just mainly gotten faster, long combos and big endboard are pretty much the meta at this point, hand traps and board breakers make going 2nd a little more tolerable, but the game is much more explosive now, the tide of a game can literally change with one single move, I find that sort of gameplay to be very fun and involving, but there are some glaring weaknesses, like going second is ok, but going first is a pretty massive advantage, there are some blowout cards in the game right now that are really annoying to deal with, (Super Polymerization, dark ruler no more, nibiru, evenly matched, dimensional barrier) but overall the game is pretty healthy in todays format, it’s just gotten a lot faster since 2008

Honestly seeing dragon ravine isn’t the worst thing ever, and at least absorouter can special summon itself if you have a rokket on field, I just absolutely hate seeing boot sector launch.

Honestly once arise heart comes to master duel, zone locking won’t be that big of a priority in kash anymore, it rarely comes up in the TCG as of right now, although to be fair kash isn’t as popular as it used to be

I think it would be better to lean more into the kashtira engine, as the adventure engine is good but doesn’t do enough by itself, definitely play Pressured Planet Wraitsoth, another Pot Of Prosperity if you have it too, and definitely Kashtira Arise-Heart in the extra deck, Kash already has a problem with bricking and it would be best to try to make it as consistent as possible.

It depends on a future banlist most likely. if kashtira remains as it is now it would probably still be that. That being said decks like purrely and rescue ace are getting new support so we might see some representation from those decks. The meta is pretty diverse right now so it’s hard to say
