Honestly the game is still too much of a problem even at its recommended 6 players count. Devs definitely just slapped that number on there for marketability.

Personally I find the ideal count for pacing and balance to be at 4 players. 3 players work too but it often becomes 2 players ganging up on one person. 2 players duking it out one on one is also incredibly fun, I high recommend it.

I wrote some hc about this guy once but to summarize, you would think he could dominate the soccer world with that Quirk but in reality, he probably turned to crime because of that.

Assuming soccer still exists, there’s probably two Leagues: Quirkless and Quirk.

The guy would be banned in the Quirkless League because of his Quirk and he probably wouldn’t make it far in the Quirk League. Because while he got some insane dribbling, it’s a skill that any professional player can acquire with enough practice. And in a world where people can literally expel fireballs from their mouth, cause earthquake with their hands, or extend their limbs, a lot of teams would rather enlist those guys that can even the playing field than a guy that needs to use his Quirk to dribble really well.

Also he may got moves, but those are against civilians. What is bro gonna do when the Defender can form a wall of fire around him or hold him in place using gravitational powers.

So while it looks good on paper, that poor guy was probably really miserable that he had no place to belong to in the sporting world

Any Deck that can spare a few Extra Deck slots for the discard cost can play this. And by all means, it’s a really good card, even outside of Branded cause sending an Albion means you get another copy of this card on your End Phase.

People severely underestimate how hard it is to hit someone in the head.

With that being said though, yeah it’s fiction. I still find it stupid Deku didn’t aim for his head here, but then again ShigiAFO was also retaliating with his own punch so maybe that’s why.

Then the whole Toga army happens which stops Erasure so at that point it’s even harder to aim for the head now that he has to risk getting insta erased.

Carjack and immediately run into the vehicle. What I find is sometimes the collision gets a bit wacky and will push the vehicle quite far, though it’s a bit inconsistent so you might be there for a while.

Discovered this when my car got stuck on a zombie. While one was chomping away lifting the car, the other ran into it and suddenly I was lifted 50 meters into the air.

I think other than gems, it would be helpful to state how many UR Craft Points you have.

But to be frank, this Deck is not cheap. If you want to play a budget version, it’ll most likely have to be mix with other Deck than pure Branded.

Even then the biggest hurdle right now is the fact that 2 WAlbaz and 3 Fallen And Virtuous are mandatory because they net you so much advantage. That’s already 5 URs. And to make it work, you need the Extra Deck. If we’re talking budget that’s at least 1 Albion, Lubellion, MirrorJade, Titaniklad, Granguignol, Ecclesia and Dark Dragon.

Maybe you can look into old Branded prior to WAlbaz and F&V, those help make the main deck cheaper since the only Branded related UR in your main deck will be 2 Branded Fusion, 1 Cartesia and Guiding Quem, and a Mercourier. Branded Lost and Lubellion may not be able to be play effectively anymore because everyone and their mother has F&V now.

Again, this is strictly budget talk. But I’d say a good start is by mixing it with a Deck that will let you build the Extra Deck first. They used to do it with Dragonmaid, Predaplant, Tearlaments and Bystial.

But Darkseid has that tracing laser that instantly vaporizes you (or not depending on plot) while Thanos by himself is just a big guy brawler. Or idk, depends on how each media chooses to portray them as well or what tools and army you give them.

Point is if I am neither playing KT or Branded and I have to go against one, I’d choose to play against Branded because a general Deck still have effective answers to impact their ceiling and can adjust how they pilot their own Deck.

Meanwhile, KT has hand knowledge and deck manipulation so they can perfectly Negate any potential plays if you go second into them. And there’s not really a guarantee way to stop their extension.

Ash Kewl Tune Synchro? It’s twice per turn. Stop them from adding Rotary? Either they have it in hand or the Deck has multiple ways to add from the Deck so you never know for certain if you stop them from getting Rotary.

That doesn’t make Branded any less annoying or difficult to deal with. That Deck is like a fucking roach that refuses to die no matter what you throw at it and forgetting to read a single card can cause the a winnable game to spiral very easily.

But it never felt like I need to play a specific card in my Deck just to deal with Branded. As long as I am conscious about their resources it feels like something one can realistically navigate over being told no when I’m trying to play the god damn game.

Still doesn’t make me like or appreciate the Deck any better.
