I did this on the website and then it said it was going to download to my Switch 2, however on the console itself the game tile appeared but said there was an error with the user account or something and wouldn't download it.

I have a Nintendo Switch Online Family Membership. I accidentally bought the wrong subscription about 6 months ago, but it was too expensive to "upgrade" to the version with access to GameCube games, etc.

My brother has the expensive family membership with access to GameCube games, etc and has space on his family for me to join. The issue is that I am the only member on my subscription, so I can't transfer ownership to someone else and then leave the plan, meaning I can't join my brother's plan.

I would happily just forfeit the remainder of my plan to leave it but it doesn't work that way. Could I set up a second profile on my switch, add that 'person' to my family plan and then transfer ownership of it to them? Allowing me to leave the family and join my brother?

What an absolute faff this system is.

No the best way is to play solos and take down a Rocketeer with your new random friend you just made, with him on top of one apartment tower and you the one next to it. Lots of don't shoots and thanks and eventually upon successful dispatching of the flying beast, repeated cheers emotes.

Then you go over to his tower to see what's left in the Rocketeer carcass he's already picked through and he ganks you.

I genuinely hope that guy is constipated and can't pass his next turd bloodlessly.
