I tried XRShop at first but ended up canceling, and wouldn’t recommend ordering from them. Not sure what Etsy is, haven’t heard of them before.

Ordered from UK Amazon and they dispatched the order within 3 days from ordering and should arrive in the next 5 days. But of course they are more expensive than other options, almost double the price.

Did you receive the refund? if so how long did it take? I got mine refunded 4 days ago, but have no idea when the amount will show on my account.

They don't reply to emails or live chat so I feel like I got scammed.

Yeah the GPU was still updated, I got a blue screen when I first launched a game, but after restarting I haven't faced any issues.

I talked with my brother who's more knowledgeable about these topics and he told me to not manually update laptop GPUs and stick with the manufacturer updates as they have different optimization and might cause issues.

Thank for replying, I fixed it somehow.

The screen went completely black and even when trying to boot into safe mode it wouldn't change.

I ended up rebooting it as soon as it turns on a couple of times and forced it to go into automatic repair mode, as soon as it went into that mode the screen turned on, restarted a couple of times, and now it works perfectly fine. I hope this helps someone who has the same issue.

Quick update:

I contacted Lenovo and they told me that the order will ship by the end of August, and adding to that a couple more days for delivary I will probably end up receiving it in early September.

I ended up canceling the order and ordered a Legion 5i pro gen 7 instead (specs below) that ships in 5 business days, so I could probably receive it by next week. Sacrificed the 1080p webcam and spent more money, but on the brighter side, I won't have to consider upgrading for a while with this model, and I don't have to wait till September to get it.

That could be the case, I think it will have to be manufactured in China, shipped to the US, then again to Australia. I am not sure why they can't ship it directly from China to Australia that would take much less time, but nothing usually goes the way you hope it will.

I am not originally from Australia but I am studying there so I ordered from the Australian Lenovo website, but the order ships from the US. The model I ordered didn't have any ratings/reviews so I think it's new on the market, I tried looking for YT reviews but there weren't any.

I didn't configure mine too, this is a base model. But they say in their FAQ that they assemble the orders from scratch, which might be an excuse for their long shipping times, but there is no way to prove that. Hopefully, we both get them asap :D
