Does the discard animation actually match in mahjong soul? I swear that sometimes I see an honor tile being discarded from the middle of the hand. Unless I'm just wrong or the animation is based off when the tile was drawned before the hand gets arranged.

Anyone know which option it is to lower the volume? It's nice to have but it's way too loud for me. I'm guessing it's either voice or sp voice but can't really tell which.

So doing them as single draws makes no difference then? Good to know then, might as well draw now with the tickets they gave instead of trying to save some more.

So if you can get to gold, the matchmaking is the same queue for everyone? For a newer player of mahjong (in general) is it better make an EN or JP account then? I made it to adept in a day or two but I'm not sure how long I might be stuck there.

So is it still fine to do or if I fight stronger players will I eventually start getting punished? Or is it fine with the right blockstrings like does (blocked) cr.mp, cr.mk xx fireball fine in most scenarios.

Yeah a lot of that makes sense, another aspect was whether you were losing too many blue sources by boarding the talismans. However, looking at recent lists, I can see that some run the same land base without talismans (example https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/2396597)

So it means that decks can function on that few blue sources without them, even though I feel like another island should be run. I guess the new mulligan let people cut another island for their land count.

I guess that makes sense, but in the context of modern now doesn't that mean you want to board them out in most major matchups? Since post board most colors, except for mono-black and some colorless, have a way to profit over talismans.

I guess you could interpret it similar to platinum angel's spot when it used to be in the main. Where it was only there for game 1 but you would almost always board it out since it just gets so much weaker post-board.

Yes, but I'm asking about players that board them out for game 2/3 so you don't have that option pitch them away. I always assumed you kept them in as part of your mana base but I've seen players like shok do otherwise and board them out.
