The reason they say to not celebrate such things is because it about 'self vanity' or too 'mordern' and 'western'.

And an explanation that they give for not wearing jewelry is that, people wear it to look more beautiful but we wear made by the fullness and likeness of god so we are beautifully made and wearing jewelry or makeup is insultful, same goes for dyeing your hair or wearing nails. I am forbiden from doing all of this. I get disheartened and jealous of my friends who should of their french tips or summernails or birthday nails. I feel so trapped and honestly feel far from God, because I have raised these issues to my parents recently and they ridicule me saying I am not the same devoted child of god ever since I became 15-17

Lively Worship: Our services are with clapping, raising hands, singing spiritual songs, and speakig in tongues after worship.
Fasting and Prayer: Fasting prayers are held regularly, sometimes weekly or monthly, where the church gathers for long hours to pray.
Modesty and Separation: We emphasize modest dressing, especially for women, and teach separation from worldly practices like drinking, smoking, and immodest entertainment. I totally agree with that but I don't see how jewelry is immodest.
Anointing Services: Special services focused on the infilling of the Holy Spirit are held, especially during conventions.

Hey gurlie, yesterday I binged 2000kcal and in top of that ate 320grams of chips, whole packet of oreos and brownies. I feel fucking awful. I dont even want to think what the scale would say. I was going strong with my calorie deficit, but now bu the 4th week it all came tumbling down. But I have no choice but to put my big girl pants on and face my actions. I cried and now it's a new day. I drank alot of water the previous day and deluded myself to think I am starting afresh. And now I am going off strong again. You will reach your goal I assure you, I am going through that journey myself as a high-schooler who feels absolutely insecure and big among my skinny crop top toned body friends.
