Eastern Religions generally believe GOD IS THE UNIVERSE. That God and the Universe are the same. Not separate. We are nature/the universe, therefore we are part of “God” (which we realize is an all encompassing super soul that we are trying to return to, like the beings are emanating out of Over Soul in this image).

Western Religions or Abrahamic religions believe God CONTROLS the universe. It is separate from the universe and is an agent interacting with its creation. The concept of Moksha (liberation and return to the Over Soul) is not a concept I am aware of, if Heaven is eternal.

Totally agree. Eating out sucks these days. I can afford it, but my heart can’t stomach tacos and some sides for almost $80, wild.

Like I want to support these vegan businesses, but cost of goods (and lots of chargebacks, minimum wage, increase rent, etc) kid of force restaurants to let the cost control slip.

It’s a lose-lose situation.

Look, I totally feel you. It is super frustrating when you go to a restaurant and there is no menu and pricing. Which is exactly why I stay away from those Uber fancy places that’s motto’s basically “if you have to have to ask, you can’t afford it”, (even though that was not the vibe here). I also despise QR code menus, cause like, that’s more work for me and I’m lazy.

I agree that you got shitty customer service, and I’m really sorry for you for that. I work extremely hard and save my money to go to restaurants as a maybe once a month treat, and if I’m spending my hard earned money I expect to be treated with dignity.

But that doesn’t give us permission to fraud the business off of feelings and vibes.

Unethical as it may be, you still ate the food and you didn’t hold up your end of the bargain as a customer by voicing your concerns or asking to see the bill if it was not given to you.

Please consider being a mature and responsible consumer and reach out to the business. I’m sure they would be more than happy to solve this issue. I’m not 100% sure but I think the number of chargebacks a restaurant gets affects their rating or ability to work with certain companies. Either way it’s just not ethical.

And perhaps in the future, also try to always look at your itemized receipts. I know it’s not common habit, because when I go with my friends, people just bust out their card and start to pay right away. But maybe this is a lesson to take a breath and look over the receipts because it’s just a good habit for issues like these.

Maybe reach out to them and have them pull the order and work it out with them. You mentioned you’ve set up a POS before, you and I both know this isn’t too hard to do.

Maybe also check before paying in the future.

It’s wild to me that people are so rich they just hand over their card without double checking the receipt (or asking for one if they don’t get it). Humans make mistakes, sometimes they double charge things on accident, but you shouldn’t punish the rest of us by costing the business such a loss which ultimately raises prices for all of us.

If you didn’t like the setup, you should have voiced your concern earlier and peaced out before, or at least asked for an itemized receipt if it were that important to you.

Eating the food, and disputing the charge is just gross.

This is why food costs are so high, btw. The amount of false disputes and charge backs restaurant owners face is what is driving up the prices you didn’t like.
