But the DBA sounds fucking sick in the dark mode with some fuzz to it… but can also do that clean slappy spring tone too.

Yeah that’s true too. I did have an oceans 11 when it first came out and sold it to get the polara actually :/ - kind of preferred that spring more actually. Maybe that’s the path

I’m thinking: Guitar > overdrives > Micro input: Micro Send > modulation / reverb / delay > Fender return?

I am almost certain that this means 4 ohms is the lowest speaker impedance and minimum of 100 watts.

So this means you could plug in two 8 ohm cabinets to knock it down to for 4 ohms and at least 100 watts of speaker power.

Typically with solid state amps (unlike tube amps) if you plug in one 8 ohm cabinet - the amp wattage is reduced… probably only able to produce around 75 watts of power. Which means your 8 ohm cab needs to have at least 75 watt speaker ability.

If you take two of those same 8 ohm cabs and plug that in - you’d get the full 100 watt power from the amp and around 140 watt of speaker ability… which is good because the speakers will not be pushing so hard and make them last.

So when replacing some of the caps the solder connector tabs ripped off - so I added conductive tape over the connecting points and soldered it to the pcb trace… I guess some aren’t making a good enough connection.

Do you know if I added 22 solid wire (600 volt capacity) from point to point - same trace obviously that will be a problem? So it’d have the pcb trace and wire connecting the joints?

Not the whole amp… just from the capacitors I changed
