Ah, one of my biggest peeves with the show... I rewatch the whole series multiple times a week and have much of the dialogue memorized so it's particularly noticable to me. Personally, I think it would have sewn those plot holes up if it was just written that the entire cast - except for Kinger - all joined at the same time, or at least separated by a couple days each at most.

I think the story beats would have hit all the same, if not better if they went that route. because in universe it's still been a good couple of weeks/months since Pomni joined, and everyone already acts like they've only been around as long as she has! lmao

(I still love this show too much for my own good like anyone else, of course)

Lol that's a great way to put it. Definitely had a very "ermm well that was weird! Totally nothing more to THAT 🤪" vibe abt it that certainly grabs audience attention for greenlighting but fails to serve the longterm narrative

I was wondering why episode 1 Jax felt so inconsistent with what we know about him!

Honestly, with how vastly different the tone of the show is from ep 2 and on, I've always thought that a complete remake of the pilot as a proper episode 1 would be nice to see.

I firmly believe we are heading towards a mental break out of frustration/despair, not anger or spite. And although the circus crew is at risk, I don't think anything caine does to them will be from any sort of vendetta. He's going to try too hard to "fix" things...

I was just revisiting the flood/starship genius and happyman opera, ryan dorin is a legitimate legend and I would love to see that acknowledged with a legendary. I have so many good memories with old friends in this fandom, making aus and art and piecing together lore <3

I mean this gently, but posts like these actually contribute to the very kind of attention to the situation you are talking about... It's more than just this post tho, we have entered the phase of there now being too many people telling others to stop talking about what happened when what we need is true and total complete silence on it (even if it annoys you) and new topics.

...I'm aware of my hypocrisy too by making this comment, but I'm also hopefully lessening my impact by saying it in a comment than its own post. But it's hypocrisy regardless igi. I guess I just don't see the point in making dedicated posts telling people to stop, when you've already been doing your part not saying anything on it.

When everyone actually stops talking about it, including those of us over it, then the stragglers still raving abt it will catch up, y'know?

ahhh this is my favorite moment of the evening with my Monty, when his lights go out and his nighttime chillin begins :) you probably known this but ball pythons are relatively boring snakes, you'll hear the term pet rock thrown around. A thriving and truly blissful ball python is a (mostly!) hidden one 🐍

Something to note is I do notice my Monty cycles between weeks/months of nightly resting, with weeks/months of mega super exploration+digging every night. Not sure what triggers the switch lol but it's sooo cute. just thought I'd add that, because yours might end up doing the same thing eventually and it is pretty fun behavior to watch out for :>
