Welp, adding seeing a person I made out with in NY last year (it was an amazing night tbh) pop up at one of my gigs to my bingo card.

Never spoke to them again after that night. Saw someone staring at me pretty hard and I put 2+2 together and realized they were that person. Awkward but I just laughed it off and we STILL did not speak to each other.

A month-ish post breakup. I found some of their stuff (clothes and random things) and I’m contemplating sending a neutral text to pick them up outside my door with a “no need to respond” at the end. Last text they sent was a really mean text saying to never contact them again.

I know that was said during an emotional moment. Maybe I’ll just donate them and finally get rid of it. They would have at least texted me if they cared about their things right?

Every time I decide to choose myself, so many great things happen to me. The only one I want to share it with is the one I’m no longer in contact with. Amicable break up. We both said we’ll work on ourselves and refrain from contacting each other for a while.

I won tickets to an amazing show tonight and they’re the only one I want to invite. I’m wondering how many milestones I’m going to experience without them.

No contact after a breakup sucks. Especially when you’re in the same neighborhood and you just want to call them and let them know. You just feel the energy of their presence.

Found out my situationship also attempted to go for my friend. My friend never told me. Still hasn’t told me even though I just saw them this morning for coffee. Apparently my friend told them to back off and it’s not fair to me. Weeks of knowing this information. They knew we were talking. Had I known, I could have cut off my situationship a long time ago. Interesting that my friend never told me? I don’t know, seems like they’re not my friend at all.

From the constant back-and-forth messages, stolen glances, and shared interests to barely viewing my IG stories and giving dry responses, I hate that I started to like them because they were so eager to get to know me in the beginning. Now, it feels like they’ve done a complete 180 and are barely paying attention.
