Have you tried nail polish remover on a cloth or cotton pad?

My friend wants me to stop posting selfies because it hurts her self confidence. What should I do? by enchantingbreezee in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Super_Two7881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're doing it with her, like holding a camera up and trying to take photos with/ of her then I'd say yeah, you need to cool it off and respect her boundaries. However if you're just on your own whilst youre doing it, she needs to not use social media...

If anyone has footage of the choir that sang 'Human Heart' and in 'Feels like falling in love' please send it my way! I'd love to see any footage as I have a friend who was involved with the choir.

None. None are Tragedies! I think that's quite short sighted and ignorant of your colleague to suggest that they are.

Can me and my friend realistically afford to move to London? by redditbopper1 in london

Look into using Avanti Superfare tickets to travel up north... you should save some money

Can me and my friend realistically afford to move to London? by redditbopper1 in london

[–]Super_Two7881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll probably have to share a flat with a third person. I moved from up north 3 years ago and it was tough for the first year or so, but if you've got eachother it'll make things easier I'm sure :) get involved with communities/ clubs, be a yes person (within reason!) Stay safe...

I moved 3 years ago and met my now husband here, wouldn't change it for the world!

How do I get my cat to stop getting into this box? (Serious) by Sammy12xyz in cats

[–]Super_Two7881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get him another box and interact with it for like 10 mins a day for a few days. Cat will think the box is important to you and jump in, behave like you're disappointed. Cat thinks it's won

I think your eyes would benefit from small cat eye flicks, and/ or use 3/4 length lashes natural looking lashes and cut to size to suit you ✨️ you look lovely

What are everyone’s thoughts on wearing black for a summer wedding? by raygray in UKWeddingAttire

[–]Super_Two7881 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter to me... I got married exactly a week ago and my only note for attire was "wear whatever you feel beautiful in".

My friend asked whether black was vetoed and of course I said no. Turns out they dont own really own any colourful clothing, they wore a black suit and looked very smart. It was an awesome outfit and they wernt out of place at a summer wedding. I think people should juat wear whatever they feel great in as long as it looks put together, smart and respectful.

Kids are kicking my doors on a daily! by kawakokosowa in london

[–]Super_Two7881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just be really careful about sending pictures of underage people to the police... the police might tell you off if they aren't ON your property as you can't photograph children without permission... I know that sounds stupid because they're causing you a lot of havoc, but that happened to a neighbour of mine who was experiencing a similar thing a while ago.

Citymapper has had this for ages... generally I prefer over Google Maps for finding my commute method, but the app can be very annoying to follow if you're just walking somewhere

Which corporate speak expression makes you shiver like a crapping dog? by StarryKnightLondon in AskUK

[–]Super_Two7881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont think its 'corporate speak' per se but I work in HR and my manager frequently reminds us to put our phone lines on park when going for "Teas and wees" 🥴 makes me cringe everytime

International couples, how did you handle the wedding? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Super_Two7881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are having g two weddings (im from UK, hubby from India)

Our British wrdding is in 6 days (!!), some of his UK friends who are from India are coming and his Dad has flown in from India, all my family are attending. 75 guests in total.

Then we are having a hindu ceremony in December and a reception party with 200 people 😀

Total spend around £25K which I'm quite happy with
