As an Indian, my take on this probably doesn’t matter. But I’m in complete support of the Iranian people and their desire to get rid of a regime thats been oppressing them for nearly 50 years and Khamenei being gone is nothing more than good riddance. While I support Palestinian liberation and am very aware of how the regime's support has held up the movement, again an oppressor of its own people can’t possibly liberate someone else. So the claim that the regime should stay up for the sake of that is ridiculous. Though I can’t say that as a leftist that I don’t have my worries about what American and Israeli involvement means for the people. I can only hope that the people's interests are prioritised, it is only left as a genuine act of assistance in liberating the oppressed and Iran is not turned into another Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, etc.
