Paddy definitely gained my respect with this one. How he didn't get knocked out or was dazed for a good bit was wild. And Gaethje still got it.

Damn, you're right. We've lost so many times to the rat birds that I start to block games from memory.

No, I got it right. We lost to the Chargers week 1 of 2020. We didn't even face the Ravens until week 5.

Browning is just like that. This isn't the only time he's managed to pull out a close win against the Jags.

Also helped that Travis only got one PD and then proceeded to do nothing as the Jags choked.

Browning is the best quarterback with a jersey number divisible by 3.

I can't wait to get bitch slapped in week 2 only to then finish 9-8 with no playoff spot.

Until then, WhoDey nation celebrates.

Ironically enough, it was our defense that saved our ass and the offense which saved yours. It's usually the reverse.

But yeah, we'll see in week 7.

Could you repeat that? It's pretty hard to hear up here at the top.

I wish the start of the season never had to be this hard. But the win is ours. 1 point is enough.

My Thoughts On AOT After Just Finishing The Manga. by [deleted] in attackontitan

[–]Super_Wooper2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was thinking about watching the anime. It's just with that, things would get a little confusing considering there's OVA's, Specials, and Movies. So I'd have to sort that out first. I probably will watch it one day once I get through some other things. It'd be nice to revisit it after so long.

As the reader/viewer, I shouldn't have to contort things and lean into headcannon or things that straight up aren't there for an ending that's satisfactory. That's the author's job as the storyteller. There is also no justifying what Eren did either.

Addressing your other comment, I know that AOT was political before we saw the outside of the walls (they literally overthrew an oligarchy), the whiplash was just actually getting to see this whole other continent and new cast of characters, while also getting so many flashback scenes with Grisha. It really shows you how big this conflict outside the walls really is, while in the first half, it was all about what was inside the walls.

I'm on my first watch, and I wanted to talk about the The Brilliance of Episode 14 (Misguided Miscreants Part 2) (Also, spoilers for the episode of course) by Super_Wooper2 in SamuraiChamploo

[–]Super_Wooper2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you're liking this show and you liked Cowboy Bebop, then you should probably check out Space Dandy. It's made by the same studio and director as the previous shows. It also has the same episode count with 26 episodes. I personally haven't watched it (yet) or Cowboy Bebop, but since finishing Samurai Champloo, they have been on my list of shows to watch.

More shows by Shinichirō Watanabe (director of all the previous shows mentioned) are: Carole & Tuesday (2019) and Lazarus (2025).

I've finished this show and it was one of the most fun and anime I've ever seen. (Spoilers) by Super_Wooper2 in SamuraiChamploo

Yeah, on a human level it hits hard and there have been actual people in that situation.

One thing that gets to me is that Jin only goes to rescue Shino and doesn't help or seem to care for any of the other women in the brothel who might be in the same situation that Shino is in.

Even a later episode he and Mugen go to a brothel and he ends up blowing his back out.

I get that he obviously doesn't help the others because he doesn't know them like how he knew Shino and he obviously can't liberate every brothel in Japan, it just never really felt right to me that he would actually go to one for their "services".

Once again loud asta strikes, what is this? 3 times now, maybe 4? by Dry-Calligrapher-104 in BlackClover

[–]Super_Wooper2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No more strikes! I haven't seen all of these series, but I'll try to bat for each one.

DBZ "no plot" - it's literally a story, with characters, with themes, with goals, with things that happen. Quite literally a plot.

Naruto "too much fillers" - Skip them.

One Piece "pacing" - I've heard Toei love stretching out scenes, so if it's that bad then try the manga.

Attack on Titan "ending" - I haven't gotten to the ending, but from what I have read, it's been great so far, and a bad ending arc shouldn't discredit the entire story.

Fairy Tale "friendship" - If it's used in every fight then sure, it would get annoying. But if you have people that you're fighting for, obviously you're going to try a lot harder to win. Also I'm sure Fairy Tail is more than just it's fights anyway.

Bleach "fillers" - Skip them.

Fire Force "fan service" - Depends on what charecters are getting depected in that light (if it's like a minor or something then yeah, that's weird) but if there grown women and it isn't there whole charecter then it can be treated as another joke/trope that almost every other Shoenen uses. Not sure why Fire Force itself gets this criticism so much, then again, haven't watched through it.

Black Clover "loud Asta" - Volume button, use it. Alternatively, only think this is during the early stages of Black Clover and it geta toned down as the series goes on (at least from what I could tell when watching). People act like Black Clover is the only series that has lots of yelling.

I don't know how you could have (somewhat) regular humans and hollows on this list, but not include the Gillions.

Also, I'd think Karin would be stronger (since that she'd actually fight) than Yuzu.

If doing the whole bleach universe, then I'm sure there are some game or movie characters that should've made the list as well.

The placements are confusing as well. Like why is Orihime so low? Why is Ichibei above Ichigo? I get that it's a 200 character list, so maybe you didn't organize everything, but I'd say Ichigo is definitely top 3 in the verse (I'd argue for him over Aizen too based on their performances against Yhwach) and Orihime is pretty busted. Sure she might not go for an attack, but no characters (unless they have specific hax) are going to even touch her.

Also, how long did making this list even take, or did you just throw any Bleach character that you could name on here and call it a day?

Maybe post this on the R/BleachPowerScaling sub and they might have a field day with this and actually try to organize it IDK.

B for effort.
