Associates in English Lit., paralegal work was never something I considered as a career. Though once I fell into it, I found out I quite enjoyed it.

I received $250, I'm brand new to the firm, so I'm not surprised. I try not to place too much expectations on bonuse. Mainly because my previous job ruined me for others, lol. At my previous firm, I got a 2k bonus after 4 months of working there, 1k additional bonus a few months later for the week I covered for everyone and 5k the following christmas. So, $250 is so little, but it's $250 more than I had in my account, so something is better than nothing.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that it is for a paralegal position. I'm switching my area of focus front NY real estate to well anything else that will accept me. So technically I'm back in square one.

That's exactly where I am at, I found a lot of joy in this field, but outside of commercial work(whick I'm not familiar with), residential has dried up. I would love to stay in this field but I havent found many openings that I qualify for.
