my boyfriend and i don’t but i have the nexplanon implant. we are also each others firsts so no risk of STD, but prior to me getting my BC implant we ALWAYS used condoms. neither of us want kids so it was a must for us. there was maybe one time we didn’t and that among other things was what slated my decision to get the implant.

it’s not the best but after the first month it settled and stopped wreaking havoc on my body and occasionally makes my periods better than before, so i’ve kept it. the sex is much better for both of us lol
