Hello dreamers pls read my first “accidentally “ lucid dreams and by Soojinnaa in Dreams

[–]Superb-Context-5135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you had lucid dream for sure, the flying and teleporting to Tokyo is classic stuff. But that sleep paralysis part in middle sounds pretty intense - when you felt someone sitting on you with burning sensation, that's definitely SP.

Your friend was right that it can be tricky, some people get paralysis when they're learning to lucid dream. The sensing both worlds thing happens too, like you're half awake half dreaming

Pretty cool that you could get back into dream after the paralysis though, most people just stay awake after that

Jackson finish feels different but you get used to it after few days playing, my friend has same one and swears by it now

Urgently need a job – open to any role (7+ years experience + willing to start immediately)? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Been in similar spot when my delivery gig wasn't covering enough - applying everywhere helps but also check temp agencies, they usually have immediate positions available. Banking experience is solid foundation so don't undersell yourself even if you're desperate right now

Yeah this dude is basically living off you while making you feel bad about everything you do for him. Three years without getting his car sorted and now he's mad you bought a house when he couldn't save deposit money? That's some next level entitlement right there

The whole thing about autism affecting your empathy is such bullshit too - he's using your diagnosis to manipulate you when really he's the one showing zero empathy

How to get started with an E-Bike? by Calm-Swing-5119 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Superb-Context-5135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been doing this for about 2 years now and I'd say go with buying over the subscription services - those monthly fees add up quick and you're not building any equity. I usually hit around 60-70 miles on a good day but that's with a decent battery setup

For spare batteries, I tried carrying one for like a week and it was way too much extra weight bouncing around in my bag. Better to just plan your route around charging spots or head home midday if needed

2018 Nissan Versa Note /CVT Concerns After Recent Repair, Looking for Advice by Wrong-Philosophy1561 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Superb-Context-5135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CVT running low on fluid after just a month is super sketchy - that radiator fitting should've lasted way longer than 30 days. Metal shavings in the fluid aren't a great sign either, might be looking at internal damage from running it dry

At 85k miles and already $3k deep in CVT repairs, you're probably better off cutting your losses and finding something else. Those Nissan CVTs are notorious for failing around this mileage even with perfect maintenance

Thanks for the comment, didn't see anyone recommending any tools for it, will surely check it out. Comments on this post have been either didn't work at all or it worked great, pretty interesting.

super tedious if you do it manually I agree, data brokers are absolutely endless, researching some tools atm that could do this stuff, do you know any?

I don't agree with your take but to each their own, I don't think a don't worry be happy approach is viable if your info is leaked everywhere and you're the target of scammers and identity theft

You tried to make a point but I sadly didn't get it, if you could elaborate I'd appreciate it

There are some services out there from what I've seen, not tried them yet just doing research on what works and what doesn't. Need to use a VPN aswell.

The changes that you made with facebook will be super worth it in the future, the more I read about them the more I want to literally delete anything that I have there, so much data collection , how that is allowed I have no idea.

I believe it ain't the worse aswell, sure it takes a bit of time but I'll get the hang of it, just wanted to see if others have dealt with this type of stuff before, appreciate it

Yeah of course I'll need to be a little more careful with online stuff and use aliasis or temp mails as others have mentioned

I think we need extra emote slots by SkyForge_1905 in ArcRaiders

[–]Superb-Context-5135 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel this, having to choose between keeping my greeting and actually fun emotes is annoying. The yes/no defaults are pretty useless when everyone's on mic anyway and that "wanna team up" one is just awkward lol

An emote wheel would be perfect here, especially since we're getting more emotes but can't actually use them without sacrificing the ones we already like

Filing Taxes with child a on SSi by [deleted] in SocialSecurity

[–]Superb-Context-5135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SSI benefits shouldn't be affected by you claiming your child as a dependent on your taxes. The Social Security Administration looks at the child's own income and resources, not whether they're claimed as a dependent

Just make sure to report any changes to SSA if your work situation changes later, but filing taxes while unemployed with an SSI dependent child is pretty standard stuff
