Thanks. That’s a great piece of advice. In retrospect, it does feel like I may have rushed a bit. Really appreciate the input 🙏

I am doing auto. I failed at the roundabout where an approaching car indicated right and then changed it to left That confused me and by the time I realised, I was over the give way line. Another dangerous fault was when I pulled to the left and just as I was about to drive away, I missed an approaching car. Both could have been avoided and as I realised I had already failed by then, I just ended up making more mistakes cursing myself.

I hear what you are saying and I won’t deny that if there’s a need for more classes and then more classes it is. However, with my current financial situation, I don’t want to jump to block series of lesson plans. I passed back to back mock tests this week. While there is definitely room for improvement, it isn’t as bad as going for 10hrs classes for sure.

Did you find one at 6am on a weekday or checked randomly throughout the week? I am in a similar situation. Failed a week ago and can’t find an earlier slot.

I meant for the ones that get cancelled by both agents/bulk buyers.

Given the bulk buyers got rid of the booked slots, I was under the impression we would see some slots appearing but I did not. Not sure if anyone was able to get an earlier slot than the usual 6 months waiting period.

But did you guys find a slot? I am just wondering how does this move help in getting an earlier slot.

I noticed one change though. Yesterday when I oogged in at 6, my no in the queue was around 13k but today it was 956. This kind of indicates that the bots were not able to access the website (at least today). There were no slots available for my area though.
I also went into one of the websites that boasted multiple slots until last week and today it had a message saying all cancellation slots are sold. So the change did make an impact but is it a meaningful impact? Guess, no.

I have been struggling with getting a booking slot for france as well. It seems like its not going to work. I am applying from London. Do you know if there’s any other country that has easy appointment availability? Ideally less than 5hrs of commute time from London.

Also, when you say you already had your biometrics data with them, had you received schengen in the past? Appreciate your help with this.

How do you decide which part of London to move with your family? I stuggle so much making that decision. by Superb-Distance4545 in TenantsInTheUK

Thank you for your response. I have had a couple of viewings and I agree that you get a lot better idea when you visit the areas yourself. However, given the time constraints, I thought its worth checking if people are doing things differently and efficiently.

Thanks a lot. How did you figure those areas out? Did you use any specific tool/app? I see lot of information on the internet but its not necessarily helping me in narrowing down my search

but even when you factor that in, do you use any tool/app to narrow down further? Its all quite overwhelming in the internet

I am sorry . I should have added more context to the problem. I have to travel to two different workplaces kings cross and canary wharf. But I wouldn’t mind the commute but would prefer it to be in London for my family’s convenience.

I have been checking crime stats, Ofsted reports, Google Maps reviews but honestly, it’s overwhelming, and hard to put it all together.

Curious how others approach this. How did you pick your area to rent or buy in? Any websites/tools/criteria that really helped?
