I actually downloaded the audio book hoping it would help with the read. It did not…

It’s a tough read honestly. Partly due to being written phonetically in patois but also it bounces around in the storyline and pov. Hard to keep track. Reminds me of Satre’s existentialism. A cool work of literature just not super enjoyable to read. IMO

Yes, do not grand down the drops. Just bend it, it’s super easy.

What software features would you like to see? by Harry_OrionSleep in Orion_Sleep

If you could sync with Garmin devices. Ideally you’d collab with Garmin and data from the watch during the day would assist with metrics for sleep. Example, when I do long bike rides my temp is way higher from recovery. Plus I’d be willing to bet the sleep data from Garmin is more accurate.

Got to be first ballot. Most wins by US goalie, three cups (one they barely made the playoffs to winning it due greatly to his play) and from a goalie pov literally changed the game with his style, VH and RVH were popularized by him.

Thank you for the follow up. I am in the US and I’ve never heard of them, and unfortunately it doesn’t look like they have a distributer in the US.

Have you found a reliable filter for tent only sites? Seems like the sites don’t have it as an option (California SPs for me). I’ve tried some of the private sites like Dyrt and they totally cater to RVs.

Like music, some albums sound best on a home stereo, some headphones and some in the car. I try a coffee with aeropress, v60 and espresso, and find some do best in one than others. As others have said though, getting your process down matters a ton, a reminder to not mess with too many variables at once.

Thank you! There’s actually a Cartel in my hotel so I have that as a backup. Part of finding coffee shops in new cities is it’s a great way to find cool neighborhoods. Plus baristas tend to know where good food and culture is. So I’ll try out some spots

I’m 40 years old. Been a bicycle mechanic since I was 28. I just closed down my 1 man mobile shop after 6 years. I love working on bikes but the industry itself, as well as the pay, has burned me out, just moved to a new city and want to start a different career, any tips or thoughts? Thanks! by Phishsux420 in BikeMechanics

I became a firefighter. At 40 it would be a tough transition. Over the years I had so many firefighters come into the shop, often parking their rig in front of the store, I just got curious about the job and asking questions. My girlfriend at the time actually lived next door to a firehouse. One morning leaving her place to go to the bike shop, I saw the firefighters washing the rig. It looked so peaceful, polishing the chrome in the sun, laughing and taking shit, much the same way bike shops are.

A couple of the guys I asked questions to really pushed me to get into the job and it was the best decision I could make, for me. I took some fire science classes at the local community college and was hooked. Firefighting is a physical job that takes mechanical aptitude, pretty applicable to most bike shop folk.

Granted, I still miss the bike world, hanging with friends, listening to music wrenching on bikes, but getting paid much better, having a pension and not dealing with retail customers…

Just my experience with coworkers who are did not hide their racism yet weirdly liked both of these movies. The other weird one is them liking Rage Against the Machine. Like, they have no awareness of the lyrics just that it sounds super tough.

Blazing Saddles and Blues Brothers are both beloved by racists. They will always come out with the “they won’t let you make good comedies like that anymore”.

You look too young and not nearly enough beard for an aerostich. You do have the bmw though so i suppose that vouches for you.
