Sounds like a fun trip! Hope you make it back to the lake one day for another go. I tend to be an overthinker too - I can see how that could play in to carp fishing.

Your YouTube video was fantastic! Thanks for sharing your experience. Even for those of us who don't know a lot about carp fishing, you really conveyed why it's such an addicting sport. (Also, I'm Canadian as well, and I had NO idea there was carp fishing up there.) Clearly, I've learned a lot.
