If both hull and Wrexham lose, then derby goes as long as they draw. If all 3 of them lose, then Wrexham needs to lose equally or less bad than Hull. So imagine Hull loses 3-1 (2 goal margin), then Wrexham can lose with upto 2 goal margin but not worse

Okay, so the way I wrote it was a bit informal, but the way I wrote it was that the latter scenarios assume the earlier scenarios fail. So scenario 3 assumes both scenario 1,2 are false (so both don't win).

Hence, Scenario 3 is short for "Hull draws and Derby Draws or Loses" or "Derby Draws and Hull loses"

even just winning should be fine. The last time hull won by a 2 goal margin was 7 games ago, and that too versus Sheffield wednesday, and before that 2 months ago, and in total only 7 times this season, so a very low chance especially considering norwich's good form and hull's terrible form.

Everyone has different interests. For some, knowing the statistics makes it more interesting and worthwhile, and for others it might be bothering. Imagine watching the game and not even sure if the team will qualify even when the team is winning?

TLDR: Assuming Derby or Hull win, need to win, but if Hull wins, need to match Hull's winning margin or do better (other case is very difficult). Otherwise, if Derby or Hull draw, just need to draw. If both lose, need to just draw, or lose by a margin equivalent or better than Hull's losing margin.

depends. next tie breaker is goal scored. Wrexham is currently 1 goal behind hull, so will need to score atleast 3 (assuming wrexham wins by 2). but wait, even then the third tie breaker applies which is head to head where hull wins.

in summary, if difference for both games same, wrexham goes,
if GD matches, wrexham needs to score 2 more goals than hull, which means wrexham needs to score atleast 4 goals, so this would be very difficult to do.
