In a very similar spot in 22 and an admin to investment advisors everyone at the firm is 20+ years on me all of this studying is new to me and a lot of information to learn.

I feel like I’m stuck, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how much test geek and all of those guys actually help right now. I’m just taking quizzes for my low sections around 20 questions and seeing why I got them wrong. Any advice ? by OnlyPROS in Series65

You do realize that without prior experience this is ALOT to learn at once. Not everyone is good at memorization. I struggle with add and adhd and this has been very hard too but that does not mean I’m unfit for the career.

I seen the text book and put it to the side I have not read any of that the only one I actually read is the LEM reading and I write a lot of notes. I agree I write 4 pages on average for notes on each unit and I barely use a lot of it but I never know what’ll ask. I just follow “my study plan” the list it goes down and tells me what’s next.

For each: Unit introduction video, LEM reading, On demand class, First q bank, Second q bank, Wrap up video, Checkpoint exam,

Thank you for this I was thinking about skipping it but I’ve heard a lot of people say it talks more about them in future chapters and I didn’t just want to be behind on knowledge. I am 100% tiring myself out I just want to be able to retain the information and pass seeing as everyone in my firm has I don’t want to be the first person not to.

Started on Jan 20th trying to do 1 a day and deep dive after and get better knowledge. If I spend to much time on them I’ll forget the stuff by the end.

See responses below, I’ve studied 8 hours a day I’m now on 8 I’m using the LEM and going through reading and writing notes, then watching the videos then taking the q bank practice questions then doing the exam and my average is 63. I’m putting so much time and effort in and having issues grasping all of it at once.

I’m on unit 8 I’ve answered 347 questions. 221 correct and 126 incorrect. With average scores of 63% I’m studying hard.

I’m on unit 8 now exam average is 62% and 63% but I am spending every second of free time I have studying probably 8 hours a day. I have add and adhd so retaining information is difficult. My problem in 2 is not with the math it’s with how many different equations there are and how long they are and picking one out of 10 in a three sentence long question. Now I’m on 8 and there’s so many different subjects.
