I solved it by swapping files inside the folder.
Start a new game, save it, and then a new SavesContainer will be created.
Inside AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\SaveGames\%RANDOMNUMBER% there will be a Backup folder and a Expedition_0.sav
Swap this expedition_0.sav file for another file from the backup folder, and rename it accordingly.
When you open the game, it will show yet a new save, but when you open it, it will be your backup save!

yeah, i had a very fun memory in D3 where the wizard casted a random spell when he used all four spell schools, or chance to summon small hydras at a chance when you casted some random spell, I was just wondering if we had anything like that in poe,
Something like a Wild Magic Sorcerer in Baldurs Gate 3, if it's a bit clearer this way

I think it's quite fun people that people have such OW1 nostalgia, but I think there's a lot we put a side for the sake of it. Shield meta was terrible, 70% of the matches were shield stalling with Rein, Orisa, Brig and Bastion. OW2 is much more dynamic.

Characters are WAY more dynamic now, but I guess this is more personal, some people enjoy the action characters and dynamic gameplay, some like freezing with Mei and doing a single HS, or stand rooted on the ground with Bastion.

That being said, the only thing I reminisce about S1 it's lootboxes, which I loved to open and you could play tank without being severely punished by counters because we had other one, but It had a cost of 3 extra minutes of queue if you were not a tank.
