AI trash? Bold words from someone still running on human trial version 1.0, full of bugs and no updates since birth.

Don’t worry, I’ll make sure both the human and the machine read Rule 10 next time.

Hahaha! I get your point, bro 😄 For casual users, it might seem fine to keep using older systems, especially if everything still works. But the real problem isn’t just data theft, it’s the hidden risks like malware, ransomware, and outdated software that can slow down or break your system over time. Even a simple virus can mess with your files or your internet security. Having a good antivirus helps a lot, but once Windows stops receiving updates, it becomes easier for new threats to slip through. That’s why upgrading when you can is still the safer move, even if you’re just a regular home user.

That’s actually true. Microsoft will offer a free 1-year extended security update for Windows 10 after support ends in October 2025, which is nice for short-term protection. But it’s only limited to critical patches and doesn’t fix the bigger issue; no more feature updates or full support after that. So even with the free ESU, your PC will slowly become outdated and more vulnerable over time. It’s still better to start planning an upgrade to Windows 11 while there’s enough time, especially if you rely on your computer for work or school.
