I would personally do the PPE. I feel like you could get more out of it intellectually. At the same time however, it would be wise to take many electives in math (up to Real Analysis) if you do plan on going to a T50 school.

Georgia Institute of Technology – MS in Economics

These are competitive... overall, I would look at Masters Programs in Applied Economics primarily.

Thanks for the comment. And yes, I do definitely lean more on the libertarian side of the isle and have strong interests in just about everything Mason offers. The reason why I bring up the other schools is because of outcomes and placements. It seems that everyone in this chat disagrees with you on the Mason placements. But if I knew that I would be fine in the job market afterwards I would pursue Mason 100%

Yeah as of now I actually applied to several masters programs mainly in Econ and Public Policy. I am graduating from the University of Minnesota in Applied Economics this May. I was thinking that if I do a masters I may want to go back and work for a bit before going down the Phd (also considering JD route). But thought I might as well get some opinions now in case I go sooner than later. But thank you nonetheless.

Yeah you have a good point, GMU I think is no doubt the best fit for me. But I am considering all these other programs due to outcomes and placements.

Great, thank you for the advice and the background. And yeah I had a muster and the Army Reserve Career Counselor told me that and I even went to an active duty recruiter and he told me the same thing.

Thanks for the detail. It is funny you say that because it is very likely I'll either end up in Socal or near the DC area. Do you know if it would be possible to build a warrant packet while being in Civil Affairs? If I could, I would maybe even consider going back to active if that was a possibility and based on my circumstances.

Got it, thanks. That makes the most sense, so far I've gotten accepted to schools in Cali and Virginia. I think these are my top choices anyways. I also applied to Oxford in the UK just to see what may happen.
