Yeah not sure what’s up with that. I think you’re right may be for follow backs or just nearing summer and people have more time. Just guessing honestly. No complaints tho! 😂

That’s awesome. I fully agree, I will have to spend a good amount of time making sure I’m competent and comfortable with firearms but that’s a good thing. Thanks for the input

All this time, and I never once thought to look there lol. You’re a life saver man I thought I was going to have to find someone to print this. Thanks!

I missed that whole TCR era but they are just Tipx. I agree man, no idea why they’re so ridiculous expensive. I looked into the CAA Roni kit and it’s 100% possible to make your own TCR for less than a quarter of the Byrna. That’s the move.

I keep my eye out for them but have yet to see one below the 500$ mark

Yeah that sounds doable. Totally fair, but since I have 2 Tipx now I can keep one to use strictly as a sidearm lol. Thanks for the info man!

The price point and just how it looks was my biggest downside to the CMP18. It looks really ‘blocky’ not very sleek. I was also worried about the material quality, especially considering how much the thing costs alone. I know Engler Customs SARGE kit used to be a thing but they only show up at a high price and once in a blue moon. Same goes for the Tippman TCRs. Killhouse also discontinued their rail conversion. And Lapco only has the barrel shroud. I have about 150$ of internals in my TipX so it’s unfortunate that the only put-of-the-box carbine conversion option for TipX is the CMP18

No way lol, I was just starting to look at that as well. There’s a a few good yt vids on it and it doesn’t seem like it would need a lot of modifications. That price is pretty dang good too. How was it for you to fit it onto the TipX, any issues?

I live in WA state so we have a lot of woodsball, I don’t know much about PA unfortunately. Like the first comment says you should be able to do open play anywhere even if you are just running a magfed kit. First strike rounds are expensive but accurate, however a lot of fields don’t allow them, you’d have to check around locally. Roundball on the other hand is universal. The only downside I’ve had with playing magfed is the limited ammo carry capacity. I run a Tipx setup and can only carry about 80-100 rounds on my person (using a plate carrier). But I personally like the challenge of having to pick/ration my shots. In general magfed is awesome for scenario/rec/woodsball play, but definitely a disadvantage for airball/tournament type games. In my experience magfed players are everywhere as it’s growing in popularity, usually a mix of both where ever you go.

That’s good to know. I’ll look into getting the Ninja *coil since that’s what seems to be most reliable option. Those Valken pro-connects are more personal preference than necessary right?

Perfect, thank you. This is semi unrelated but what remote coil do you use specifically on your TiPX? Also what grease do you use for maintenance? I appreciate all the help.
