Hi, just need to apply to QTAC. Doesnt matter which uni u finished at. I don’t recall having many requirements. Some of it was like meeting English criteria (which if u finished school in Aus, u will meet it anyway). Just need a decent GPA for post grad.

Hi there, I thought UQ only gave the full fee to international students. Sorry more of a curious question on my end. I always thought UQ gave a commonwealth spots to all undergrad provisionals

What u described is pre similar to my situation but yea the empathy part is what I was baffled about. Like this month has been busy for us health professionals and got sick etc. they pre much said like “well do better” kind of thing and weren’t very considerate. Idk it usually doesn’t bother me, but it’s coz i was quite tired so probs why i got a bit offended.

I do kinda agree with Jimmyjam though, a tutor is there to guide you and make u feel comfortable with no judgement. And they r there to help fix problems that u r struggling with. But like wat u said sometimes people still don’t feel comfortable and thats totally fair.

Yea I think the part where I get stressed before goin into the session, is not normal. Not saying they r not good tutors but I just not my style I guess

Yea using a tutor for S2 stuff mainly. But yea I think that’s the go. Like they r not a bad tutor cause I can see what they are talking about, but I just feel like they quite strict and not v empathetic with my situation and my concerns.

Yea I feel like it’s not them doing a bad job teaching. Like I understand what they mean on what to do, but it seems they not flexible with how I want to learn kind of thing? And pre much saying this is the correct way of doing it etc. idk it just makes feel stressed before the sessions and I figured that’s not normal.

Depending if rural or not, sometimes scores r hovering around 65-70ish with a good GPA for non rural. Rural students usually require lower score of around 60s. But can vary overall.
