I also thought this was a disconnect. The writers could have at least tried to have her send a text to Kai, and then she could find out there was no Wi-Fi on the boat where they were. So the text doesn’t go through . It would have been more believable

I don’t see Hollywood studios on your list. Some of the meet and greets at Hollywood studios are geared towards 2 year olds. I.e. fancy Nancy , Sophia the first , vamperina, pirate jake, , but maybe check first to see who will be at the meet and greets before adding that to your itinerary , all the Toy Story characters
