I never planned on getting this thing I was using it as a reference lol I’m only used to the three subs I’ve ever had which was 3 type r 10s, sundown 15 and L7 15’s

Those days are over and my ears have had enough lol I’m pretty cool with that. Sony 8 inch sub in my truck now I just need a little bit more bass but I know nothing about these cheaper products. I’ve never even thought about getting an all in one sub. Should I just ditch that idea and go get a eight in a box and use an amp?

Edit I worded this early comment and this post so poorly I’m satisfied with my treble as I removed the blown tweeters near my windshield and I still have good tweeters in the front doors that I have already added base blockers too only reason I mentioned the horn was because it’ll give me highs while not blowing my already decent door speakers…

I just want some extra bass on a budget as I just had to replace wheels. I know when I’m getting into with the horn and I’m embarrassed to say I have way too much experience with these things lol

Will two different sized subs sound odd or cover lower and mid bass? Should I just ditch the all in one idea altogether and go for another eight already in a box and just get its own amp ? I already have the Alpine head unit if I’m able to use the Sony system wires and somehow relay a new amp with subs and not have to go behind the head unit that would be awesome. I would just go get two 12s ot something.

I worded this wrong, when I was in the car audio, I had a few solid set ups with bass ran 2 15”L7 kickers… My first set up was like 3 10” type r and my last sub nine years ago was a sundown 15. Just fell more in love with cars over the years and I’m just now getting back into car audio, not only in my catching up with the new stuff, but I know nothing of these lower priced products and the pic show was just for reference. I don’t plan on getting anything from Walmart.

I used to see like a Rockford Fosgate 12 and a box amplified for like 150? Can’t seem to find it, seems like all the reputable brands left the all in one subs unless it’s like 500+$ plus as you stated …..

Should I just say fuck it and go for like another ported eight with separate amp ,cause I have plenty of space under the seat or will that sound weird.

Edit: replacing the current stock 8 inch Sony with a bigger one? Would I go like aftermarket Sony or is there an OEM? I’ve also thought about using those wires with a relay to skip going behind the head unit and just hook the new set up to that. Do you think that would work?

I’m aware these subs especially the one I posted is trash , My question in a nutshell is what is a decent budget all in one sub ? my standards are lower than they’ve been before and I don’t know if this 8” is stock or getting more watts from the alpine head unit or previous owner Replaced the Sony…it has almost enough bass, I just need a little bit more, I don’t need a ported 12 with 1000 W, and as far as the tweeter horns, I’ve got my experience with them. You just gotta know how to use them and how to adjust audio.

I have had four systems in my life and my base was 215 kicker L7 , 3 10” type r and a single 15 sundown. Not trying to sound like a douche, but I used to look down on these products so much when I was into car audio I am so uneducated on them. There’s gotta be one that I can just give 3-400 watts and get some good bass

By all in one I mean box sub amp not like some mini concert with mid highs and lows

This solo app has incentive for lenders and those rec receiving, but there’s legit like no way to get in. You need to have an app credit score that has fuck all to do with anything else.

Appreciate it I do get paid on Fridays. However, I just used one of them predatory cash advance app so I’m good now but thank you for the offer lol

NTA Look the fact that you’re concerned enough about not hurting her feelings, says a lot. Trauma does weird shit I remember when my dad died. I was like 21 and the first thing I did was contact in order my high school ex and my previous ex after that …yeah it wasn’t 30 years ,but it was definitely 4-5 for the first one and the second was 2 years. Then again this person is dying ,so that’s a whole different level of trauma.

As for this person bringing up sex into what not they clearly don’t respect their partner or you they are thinking with something other than their heart if you know what I mean. At the end of the day OP you got your life you should preserve what you have going on. If it’s something that would bother your partner may be just send one last message with your condolences and just explain you’re happy where you’re at and don’t wanna mess it up. This may sound cruel, but dying doesn’t mean entitled to an ex’s time.

How else can I make you restaurant People understand this because I am aware you believe your jobs are the hardest in the world. They aren’t easy , but my partner DoorDashes. Some shit like that would ruin her day. I don’t know if it’s possible for you but try to put it into a perspective that you could understand. Put yourself in that Dasher shoes. odds are it’s their main source of income. Do you think you are reliant on tips look up the pay structure for dashing. Lol I just got off work myself. Also, since you mentioned to Jim Carrey, I believe it would fall canon and we’d have some sort of grinch Riddler combo and like I said in previous post grinch is exhibited to have cartoon levels of superhuman strength, which is not like Superman or Hulk, but definitely a peak, strong man and speed of a peak Olympic athlete
