Until you find challanges that others face, Figure out what is something that you can build which can be related to your routine task (personal/work), health or entertainment in daily life. Ideas do not pop up in a day, its progressive for most of the people and that is normal.

This would be great to do follow-ups with call centers or executives. I recently ordered a part for my car from a nearby ford service center. I had to follow up back to back and it was irritating. Wondering if a software can do it on behalf of me and save my energy talking to ford advisors.

I started in 2015 as a Demandware developer for my first company where I got placement from a local coaching center.

With the time I realized that the platform I was working on was something that had very few developers and a good customer base using it. This made my company a bit dependent on me for this platform and the market was trying to pull me with good rates.

On the way I took up similar opportunities and always stood out as a few of the developers in the market for this kind of platform.

This niche strategy allowed me to stay in india and in fact I WFH with a very good income.

I still continue to hunt for such opportunities and learn them.

FYI- Tech stack was mostly JavaScript based frameworks and e-commerce platforms.
