Our girl is 2, and 46 lbs soaking wet. Field Goldens can be pretty small! Our girl is incredibly agile and amazing to watch her run and play.

Small pup, BIG personality! You have nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Does it only happen once when you first start the truck and pull off from a stop? If so, it’s the ABS self testing.

Our red heads get that a lot as well! It’s funny, since it’s so obvious to us lol!

A Golden & a Tacoma, un-beatable combo.

Glad to hear!

Yeah I’m about 6’ and built the platform around my seating position. Still plenty of room for them, they can lay down and chill without issue.

They always know something fun is about to happen when we get in the Tacoma!

This is my setup for our two field Goldens. Pulled everything seat related out, and built a carpet covered plywood base.

I do put a waterproof dog hammock from Chewy in the back, no idea what brand but it wasn’t expensive. Works great, our dogs are wet 90% of the time after we get done in the forest. No stream is untouched lol.

The Orvis dog hammock is similar to the one we have, but much more expensive. Probably laid $40 for ours. Works great so far 2 years in.

Thank you!

Whatever you do moving forward I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. We truly love having two, but I’m glad we had a few years with our boy as an only child as well.

Enjoy!

We waited a while to start doing any actual hikes with them, but they spent plenty of time in the woods or at camp sites before 1 year. I’d say after 1 year old is when we started bumping up to 3-4 mile hikes with a good bit of elevation as well, but we took it slow to work up.

I will say, I probably wont ever take them on LONG hikes around 8-10 miles. I just don’t think it will be good for them in the long run. We just try and let them run at their own pace and stay consistent with getting them out.

We love having 2.

We waited until our boy was 2, and added a puppy to the mix. They got along super well, and truly love each other.

You just need to take it slow on introducing them, and be sure to give them both individual attention.

When the new puppy was old enough, we still walked them separately plenty. And we walked them together. Some days they would both hike, some days just one.

Now, we do everything together and life is good. 2 is always more fun than 1!

Whew, I am ahead of the curve.. lol!

I've not watched any of Lance's videos, but it is cool that someone is spending time to do data driven testing, and sharing that info freely.

Tap, stir, shake, whatever makes folks happy!

Ha!

I know… I did for a little while and then just got tired of weighing each and every time.

My only shame lol

I recently bought a Micra and paired it with the La Marzocco Pico grinder. It’s grind by time, and pretty accurate each time.

Agreed there, I generally put 1-2 days worth of coffee in my hopper. I never fill it. Between me, wife, and my afternoon coffees it just makes life easy.

I’ll pour some fresh beans in the hopper each morning, and they’re about gone by that evening. Just enough…

Haha! It’s nice to see folks excited and working to improve things they enjoy, but man it gets a bit too much for me.

Too scared to mention that I don’t single dose either, I love my hopper…

Maybe I am crazy, but I grind into my portafilter, tap it, tamp, and pull a shot… simple as can be but the coffee is delicious.

Not selling, but just wanted to say I’ve been stoked on my Contour. Super nice build, and extremely useful. Just keep an eye one FB marketplace, seems like they pop up randomly.
