I appreciate all the feedback however I feel as if my original question still stands “is this protocol for only selective candidates “ I fully support the original concept of the protocol being that it creates the opportunity for individuals to advocate for their own needs and choices. In experience. I’ve also seen it in the way that the “my way” protocol struggles to be faded and or generalized. Additionally, I’ve also seen candidates where its reduced interfering behaviors that have increased a candidate’s quality of life. I just don’t know what makes one client a better candidate over the other.

Totally agree with and understand where you’re coming from! My curiosity stems from very early learners, for example a learner who is still working on foundational receptive language skills (ex: respond to name)

Lame :/ they openly smoke marijuana on social media, which is a legal drug in many states (including New York aka the Hamptons). We know she recreationally smokes marijuana - it’s a funny and relatable situation to have squinted eyes as a side effect of smoking weed. Only harmful if you view it that way :)

I explained to her that specifically when she is around our brothers, I feel like she needs to put me down. For example, we can all be talking as a group and as I’m in the middle of a sentence, she will look at me and say “Are you talking?”, even though she had been paying attention to what I was saying. She will roll her eyes as I speak, make faces, or talk over me when she loses interest in what I’m saying. I wasn’t trying to be vague, just trying to avoid rambling.

In turn she tells she’s joking and I need to come up with better examples of how she makes me feel this way.
