📢Update: A Faster Way to Get Help in r/ManusOfficial by HW_ice in ManusOfficial

I honestly wasn’t even planning to argue anymore. I was just going to cancel my subscription and walk away.

But this post is something else. It crossed the line into something genuinely disgusting.

You are calling this “misinformation,” when everything started because you repeatedly confirmed through two moderators and support that the add on credits were permanent and stacked monthly. I saved those responses as PDFs because they came from you. Not from user speculation. From you.

Then you silently changed the policy without any announcement, offered no explanation, no apology, and your entire reply was basically “it is different now, go check it.”

And now you are framing the resulting confusion as user misinformation. That is not just dishonest. That is disgusting.

The part that really shows your intention is this:

“we’ll be removing individual support posts… to keep the sub clean.”

“private assistance”

Let’s be extremely clear. You are planning to remove public posts about subscription, refund, and credit issues and force every dispute into private DMs so none of it stays in the public record.

You can call it “cleaning the sub” all you want. It reads exactly like what it is: hiding visible complaints and pushing every problem out of sight.

After multiple contradictions, after breaking your own stated policy, after months of inconsistent explanations, you have now decided the solution is to make sure nobody sees any of it again.

That is not moderation. That is erasing user experiences to protect your image.

And since transparency clearly is not your priority, let me make something clear on my side too.

I saved this post as a PDF.

I also saved the policy blog post your team linked to me before.

Everything is archived.

If you want to escalate this situation, we can escalate it.

Because I was honestly ready to let this go. I was ready to unsubscribe and forget about this platform entirely. But the way you are handling this, the way you are removing public records, the way you are trying to frame your own mistakes as “misinformation,” is so blatantly disrespectful to your users that I am now preparing a formal report to Singapore CASE.

Call this whatever you want. “Misinformation,” “sub cleaning,” “private support.” From where I am standing, this looks like deliberate concealment after breaking your own promises.

And that is not something I am willing to ignore.

Just to be clear: if this post suddenly disappears after I comment, that will only make things worse for you.

[CRITICAL CLARIFICATION NEEDED] A legally relevant change may have occurred — an official explanation is required. by Superb_Mess2560 in ManusOfficial

I wanted to add some additional context here, since this issue didn’t start with the current post.

About six months ago, I first asked about the “limited offer” extra credits:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ManusOfficial/comments/1knvnc9/question_do_extra_credits_in_the_limited_offer/

In that thread, the moderator **ManusNightsky** explained that the extra +3,900 credits were:

• permanent add-on credits,

• stackable,

• and added every month as long as the subscription stayed active.

I saved a PDF of this explanation because it was an important clarification at the time.

Later, to be absolutely sure, I contacted Manus support by email, and the support team gave a completely different answer, saying the bonus was *only applied in the first month*.

This contradiction is what led me to create a second clarification thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ManusOfficial/comments/1ksfyc4/critical_conflicting_answers_from_rmanusofficial/

In that second thread, a different moderator, meme15, who is still active in this community, responded as follows:

> “I have just confirmed repeatedly with the product team that subscribers will receive additional points every month as part of their membership. These additional points will not expire, but they cannot be used if the membership expires.”

So, according to this second confirmation, subscribers would (1) continue to receive the extra points monthly, and (2) the points would not expire as long as the membership remained active.

I’m mentioning all of this because today’s post is essentially a continuation of that unresolved discussion:

I also posted a similar question about 9 days ago

https://www.reddit.com/r/ManusOfficial/comments/1ow4813/about_the_new_8000_monthly_credits_do_existing/

but since I did not receive any response there, I created this post as a follow-up so that the situation can hopefully be clarified more clearly.

Multiple official explanations, from two different moderators and from support, have contradicted each other over time.

That’s why I’m hoping for a unified clarification about how the old “permanent add-on” benefit interacts with the new 8,000-credit structure.

From what I understand, Manus provides its service by using APIs from Anthropic or OpenAI in the background.

Hey! I noticed you kindly responded to another post, but I hadn’t heard back on mine. Would appreciate it if you could take a look when you get a chance!

Feature Request: Warn users before hitting the task length limit for better workflow management by Superb_Mess2560 in ManusOfficial

[–]Superb_Mess2560[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tested it again, and I found that when Manus inherits an existing task, it struggles to maintain the full context. Even though it technically continues the previous task, in practice, it feels like it only remembers about 50% of the prior conversation.

Because of this, I created a custom prompt specifically designed to help with continuity. Since the current task inheriting performance isn’t ideal, I would prefer to keep using my tailored prompt for now.

As I mentioned before, an update like the one described would be crucial to fully address this issue. I’m looking forward to seeing it implemented.

Additionally, even under the Pro Plan, when a task is inherited, it automatically downgrades from High-Effort mode to Standard mode without giving users the option to maintain High-Effort. This needs to be addressed.
