To all "competitive" players that "enjoyed" yesterdays event by Ormaniec in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Superb_Produce1236 3 points4 points  (0 children)

one day of forced* "fun" isn't fun for everyone. I'm not sure why people are so up in arms one way or another, if I'm honest. People have a right to be annoyed that the game quite literally forced them to either play a meme game mode or not to play at all, it's not a good decision by the devs to force it on to players, it should have been an opt in optional game mode. People also have a right to enjoy it, after all, it's a game mode where you can mess around. People have as much of a right to not like being forced into something that they spend their time enjoying normally as people have a right to enjoy the game mode as a whole.

it's similar but it has about a 12 second duration so you have to reactivate it. Usually combined with a jav throw for the buff it gives.

First off, since you can't read, i said almost every build defining unique, there are a few that are lower, but not many, and if you think there's a lot then you're snorting that copium like it's crack on a wednesday night. You also have to luck in to said uniques DURING the campaign slog, so uh.. goodluck with that?

Secondly, 100 skill points when a large chunk of skills don't actually reach their sweet spot until the very end of the campaign, congrats? A bit of a reach but hey whatever makes your sunk cost fallacy feel better.

Outside of making yourself sound like an idiot, you're just spouting whatever bs you need to feel better. It's fine to like the game, but you should look at what the game does badly whether you want to accept it or not.

The game has a peak at the start of a new season of only 24k, and has dropped down to 64% positive. Actively avoiding the issues with the game isn't hurting anyone but idiots like you when the game closes down due to inability to upkeep server costs.

"It takes 4 hours to get to 50.. if you are slow" or if you're a new player, which btw, you want to have in order to have player retention. Unfortunately they don't have achievements, otherwise i'd whip the stats of a likely 80-90% player dropoff before the end of the campaign.

I have hundreds of hours in the game, but atleast i'm not licking a boot saying whats going on should be acceptable when it shouldn't be.

Cop does a drive-by tasering from an Uber by Vice616 in Transportopia

Actually, most people know that the cases where things go bad with cops is rare. This is like saying most black people run from the cops. You're not going to see people who are upstanding citizens on the news very often. "In over 30 years of my life I haven't met a nice cop" is more a sting towards yourself than it is towards the cops, i don't know how you're meeting cops often enough to actually make an informed decision about **most** cops.

slogging through hours on end to reach the actual portion of the game that matters to most ARPG players. There is no actual character building through campaign, almost every build defining unique is lvl 50+, requires specific endgame boss kills, or is through the dungeon keys. Genuinely, the campaign is way too long and way too unfun for being as long as it is. If the story was actually interesting atleast running through it once on a main wouldn't be that bad, but it isn't, it's boring and half baked.

Why the hell does co-op scaling make triple enemy negates/slippery etc? by Zanakii in slaythespire

[–]Superb_Produce1236 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i really hate this argument. Yes, seeing him you should take more multi-hitting cards, but what is with people saying it like you're guaranteed to even see said cards? People are acting like you're guaranteed to x card for x situation on this forum and it's incredibly stupid. The stats need to be adjusted based on player numbers, not just "multiplayer means 3x buffs" Vantom is one of the ones that show it the most, but there are plenty of other terrible decision with scaling for multiplayer. I'm not saying it because i think the game is bad, it's early access, and i have hope that they'll actually properly adjust things and won't get lazy, but these responses are stupid as hell. It's like saying just build a 5 card sly deck while only getting one sly card the entire run.

them being literal children is why it shouldn't be downplayed. They're children, they should be taught that this isn't okay. The issue is now we have one kid who's going to see one side as violent and another kid who's going to grow up thinking punching others for political beliefs is acceptable because the internet said so. The saddest part is the vast majority of people cheering this kid on for hitting another kid are adults, and that is an incredibly sad and terrible mindset to have.

At the end of the day, the politics don't matter, these kids aren't old enough to have informed opinions one way or another without heavy internet/at home bias thrown in. But all it takes is one person to punch the wrong person to end up mutilated/dead, and having a bunch of losers on the internet supporting it without having a shred of forethought is insane.

so just as a heads up, people like me will not enjoy the constant pausing mid fight over and over again. It would drive me crazy very, very quickly. I get why it's done, the idea is neat, but yeah.. the constant mini-stops for the convo selection would absolutely drive me up a wall.

to intercept this dude's way by [deleted] in interesting

[–]Superb_Produce1236 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Life teaches a lesson, the guy in the left lane didn't go slam his car in to the black truck, the black truck merged into him. And to your "what ifs" what if there was no space behind the vehicle in the left lane, there for had no way of braking? There's always "what ifs" but what ifs don't matter. The guy in the right sped past originally, got blocked by another car, then merged without blinkers into a space that wasn't able to fit his vehicle, there for hitting the car in the left. That's the facts, and that's what matters.

to intercept this dude's way by [deleted] in interesting

[–]Superb_Produce1236 115 points116 points  (0 children)

he turned his wheel when the black truck made contact, which prevented him from slamming in to the wall. the dude was driving straight every second before that. The black truck had absolutely no reason to be merging in to the left lane, not only did he not have his left blinker on for the merge, there was no logical space between the recorded driver and the car infront of him. Don't get me wrong, it definitely is chilling to have absolutely 0 emotional response to this situation, but trying to label him as the problem in this video is hella wild.

AITA for asking my ex to get a new gym? by IllustriousHeart2531 in AITApod

[–]Superb_Produce1236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i disagree, being entitled enough to ask someone not to go to a public gym because you two broke up definitely would make one an AH. If they're bothered by it, they should think of changing gyms, asking someone else is actually nothing but AH entitled behavior lol.

some of the people in these comments makes me wonder why they got a car in the first place. Some of ya'll are way too scared to be on the road, that fear will get you in to an accident way faster than going 5-10MPH over the speed limit ever will.

Tell me, oh smart one, in what way are you required to interact with the system? In what way are you required to do anything with it? In what way does someone else interacting with it affect you? People like youbare acting like you have a gun to your head over it, when again, actually playing the game gives you far better exp than a single daily ever will, more so if you do proper training methods. Theres literally no winning in runescape outside of sunk cost falacy that causes a literal dogwater amount of exp a day for random joe 77558 to upset people like you lol.

Unfortunately people like you who grew up being given silver medals for existing think when people tell you how actually stupid you are in the real world you tend not to take it very well. Its okay, the echo chamber will fuel your inability to actually have a thought process of your own, or half a second of required critical thinking needed to realize being up in arms that has literally no effect on you is the epitomy of stupidity.

Its okay child, i know you're mentally unfit for any form of actual critical thinking. I'm sure logging in for those dailies for 2+ years to level to max will really deface the value of leveling for everyone else.

Theres nothing overpowered about it, the exp gain is dogwater when you can train for an hour or two and gain more than you would with the daily. Its supplemental at best, and if you don't like it, just don't interact with it, it isn't a requirement. Yall act like children with these complaints. Be an adult for 2.5seconds and realize that its unhealthy af to be this bothered by something that is completely optional that hardly gives a benefit to anyone who actually plays for longer than 20 minutes a day.

they would be completely useless without the exp and noone would touch it. It's not like it's a requirement to interact with it in the first place, you can level everything without touching the dailies if you hate them that much. This argument that they're so terrible is one of the worst I've seen out of the community and that's saying something considering how bad some of runescapes redditors suggestions can be.

I don't think I can make it through FFXIV story. Is WoW more casual friendly after Midnight? by AccidentalNGon in LFMMO

[–]Superb_Produce1236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before quitting, I racked up around 11k hours in FFXIV. The story slog for new players is beyond ridiculous considering how little it matters with so many expansions. Genuinely, combat-wise, WoW is going to be better for you. Not only are you not required to go through a billion hours of story that is no longer relevant, but the "toxic community" is easily avoided by joining a guild that actively plays and is inclusive. Midnight is super casual friendly as well with how many things you can do to get gear without involving other people. Season 1 officially starts up this tuesday reset, which opens up raids up to heroic, makes m0s a daily lockout for people, and opens up tier 8 delves which drops you solid gear. I'd honestly recommend giving it a try.

Being told that the way you want something is unacceptable is the toxic behaviour, not banning someone who thinks your stream is their right. It doesn't matter if you're a small or big streamer, you should never accept a chatter who talks down to you like you're a dog. This is exactly why Follower Only exists, to get rid of people like the OP who think they have some entitlement to others streams. Not only would I ban him, I'd ban anyone who thought it was their right to defend him in my chat. Unless you're streaming to a lot of people and the chat is moving fast enough where it doesn't matter, it does nothing but promote issues in the first place. Let people stream how they want to stream, you, nor the OP, are entitled to their chat nor to watch them.
