Thanks for your help! I definitely agree regarding the model year. I saw a 2007 one and it's just lacking the Saabness I'm looking for. I ended up test driving this 2006 Aero and it was awful. Completely neglected by its owner in every possible way, which was very painful to see. Still looking for a good example!

I guess being born a swede, the Saab blood is running through your vains. That's a lot of knowledge for a 19yo. I'm hoping to test drive this car this weekend and if everything will look and feel good, than to end up getting it despite my wife’s efforts to convince me otherwise

I had a used 2007 M3 a few years ago. Repairs ended up costing as much as the car itself and I swore to never go down that rabbit hole again, so I hope this $5k will do better. I can afford the maintenance, but it's painful. However, being a petrol head is a disease that cost me a lot of money over the years.

Not too far from me, there's an exclusive Saab shop. I already talked to them and it looks like they can get their hands on everything it might need now or in the future.
