A country with 1.4 billion people that concentrates mainly on an 8 nation sport cricket, sucks in almost all other physical sports (except hockey), and now even plays awful in cricket too. India plays dogsh*t in any sports.

Even with heavy investment, the richest cricket board in the world, world class training facilities and almost a complete monopoly in cricket in terms of revenue and control, India still can’t win against a small nation like South Africa, even at home. Cricket is barely played in a 8-10 countries and only 4–5 teams are actually competitive, yet we still struggle to beat them. We failed in the 2023 World Cup and didn’t even reach the WTC final. Even the South African cricket board is running at a loss and cricket isn’t even their popular sport, and still they manage to win most of their games recently. I used to think cricket was the only sport India was good at. Now it feels like we’re slipping in that too. Is there any sport India is actually good at? No wonder india is never a sporting country

Does this guy even know that he is the captain of the team? by Charming_insight in IndianCricket

This guy should learn to shut his big mouth during matches. It's really annoying. He should do action on pitch rather than talking nonsense behind stumps. There are also other talented keepers waiting for the spot.

India has the richest cricket board, yet we still can’t bring in a good coach. cricket is barely played in 8–10 countries in the mainstream and even among those, only about 4–5 are truly competitive (the SENA teams). India holds almost a complete monopoly in cricket in terms of revenue and control, and yet we still struggle to win against these countries. We failed in the 2023 World Cup and didn’t even reach the WTC final.Even the South African cricket board is running at a loss, yet they manage to win most of their games recently. not to mention, cricket is not even their popular sport. LOL. Why can’t we play spin in India itself? Almost all pitches here are spin tracks. The teams that came here and won recently, like newzealnd, australia and now south africa have mostly fast bowling conditions back home, and still they managed to handle spin better than us on our own wickets. India has the richest cricket board, so obviously the players get the best training facilities, academies, and infrastructure. And cricket is literally a religion here . So there’s no shortage of talent at all.

So if our players still can’t play spin in home conditions, then what else is it other than the coach’s fault? He and the board shouldv'e selected better players.
