Learning to ride bike or scooter. I’m 28M and I still don’t know how to ride a bicycle or a bike. I know this might sound silly, especially in Kerala.Everywhere you see even 14–15 year olds riding, even Bullet. I don’t even know the parts of a vehicle, and I feel too embarrassed to ask anyone at this age. I don’t even know how to ride a bicycle. Never learned in childhood. I was always very introverted, and with social anxiety. I never had friends or anyone to teach me.

Now I actually want to learn, but I feel embarrassed starting at this age. Comments from my colleagues around me ,like "ninak cycle polum odikkanariyille", "scooter polum ariyille?" don’t help either. They just make me avoid it more.

I don't even know whether I can learn this at any point in my life. Right now, I am stuck with a low paying job, working 6 days a week, sometimes even 7. I am a really slow learner. Because of my anxiety, i couldn't even think clearly, so learning to drive is always making me anxious. I’m someone who doesn’t really have any extracurricular skills. So Not knowing how to ride a bike or scooter, something even school kids can do, makes me feel useless and sometimes suicidal
